To select the most accurate size collar for your pet, measure the center of their neck with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the cloth tape measure snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pet’s neck for comfort.

No more sore back
By Bobbie on Feb 13, 2021
My small dog constantly hurt my back walking our 5 miles per day. She's very muscular with strong hunting tendencies. Was determined to keep walking her but without injuring myself further. She was adopted 2 years ago so i've tried everything in the book to not have her pull. I ordered this and the first day was 60% better, second day 95%! My walking friends now want to hold her leash! It will never be 100% cured as she's a dog and they make mistakes. God love em'! Highly recommend the product.

Amazing Product
By Lyric on Feb 3, 2021
This was a great purchase for me as I have a beagle who was constantly tugging and lunging, the prongs arent too tough and he is doing very well with it when we go on walks, I only use it when training and not on regular walks, he is improving extraordinarily well with just the 10minute training sessions while wearing the collar.

Gently prong
By MorganM on Jan 26, 2021
Still follow general prong rules with this collar. Don’t leave it on your dog if you’re not walking them, make sure placement is correct, and consult a trainer before using one to learn the correct correction techniques. I love using this collar for my malinois because it doesn’t warrant the “dog abuse” comments from a regular prong and works just as well.

Doesn't fit large dogs.
By None on Mar 7, 2021
Ordered because I broke my back and have a husky that pulls, makes you buy more pieces to wait for in the mail and doesn't tell you in description that it doesn't actually fit large dogs at all.

Start using this before pulling starts!
By Kelsey on Dec 8, 2020
She started listening to “heel” on the first walk with this collar on. Very good for teaching them to avoid distractions. I have a 9 month old Border Collie (35 lb), who tries attacking moving vehicles. She may need a few practice walks to get rid of that habit, but I saw a huge difference. I also like that this is lightweight and not that sharp, because my dog hates sweaters and anything dangling off her. I would recommend giant dog breed owners to get a metal one, but this is perfect for the puppy stage or smaller-medium breeds. The spiked plastic didn’t bother her neck one bit. This was also a super affordable and time saving training tool!

Go for the regular prong collar instead
By Scout on Jan 1, 2021
My dog heals well on a leash, but Iike to send her on a training collar when the kids take her. I have a prong collar, but hate the way it looks. I thought this would be a more subdued version. The points are very sharp and rough. If I were to keep it, I would have to dremel the points to soften it. Chewy has awesome customer service and the return was no problem.

A Dogs Point of Veiw
By RudyandNoel on Feb 16, 2021
We are Siberian Huskies and boy can we pull hard and these collars can handle that. There easy to fit to the correct size. Our owners are on the older side and work these just fine. Noel and I just love them.

Starmark training collar
By Teddy on Feb 3, 2021
This item was recommended by our trainer and it works very well. We previously tried a harness but that did not solve the pulling problem. The Starmark collar gives us better control over our dog while walking and in social situations.

good for puppies!
By Bree on Dec 4, 2020
This collar was a step up from my martingale collar but a step down from HERM S. prong collar. Worked great when properly fitted. Only downside is that I struggled with taking off or putting on the links.* A great way to begin leash manners at a younger age. * I am disabled and don’t have strong fingers. Look up videos on how to adjust. It was difficult but not impossible

Not big enough
By Vicki on Dec 25, 2020
I purchased this and attempt to find a collar for my dog that would not rust. It is not big enough to go around her large neck so I can’t even use it. I have not investigated on how to get parts to make it larger. I will check to see if that is an option.
