Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Remove yellow top to fill. Replace top before using. Rinse with water, allow to dry before reuse.

My Aussie loves food and loves this toy. She learned pretty quickly how to nose it around to get the treats and so I keep the openings only large enough for one kibble to slip through at a time. (Can adjust to fit bigger/smaller kibble and training treats) my Rottweiler puppy did not get it and will try to eat through the top, it is made for my Aussie. If you help them and watch train them to move it and not chew it they do figure it out and you can leave them with it without supervision. I fill it up to the top and it’ll keep her at it for 30-45 min and if you keep in mind how this kind of interaction with scent and coordination.. it actually does a great job of keeping them entertained and mentally at it enough that they just want to relax afterwards. I love this toy though, but nothing compared to my Aussie. Her eyes get SO WIDE and her wiggle butt comes out with this. Even after her leg amputation—so much wiggle. Couldn’t recommend more. If you pay attention and help them learn how to play with it.. it won’t get destroyed. Just a learning curve. Definitely don’t just leave it with them and expect them to know and not try to tear through the top. Remember I’ve had this for 8 years of consistent play. All the chewed up stuff is from visiting dogs and my rottie when she was younger. My Aussie never chewed on it though. Big difference being—she learned how it worked with my supervision and aid. She won’t leave it alone til it’s empty. She even is good at getting it out of corners. Though, she will occasionally ask for help. She is successfully exhausted. (In action)
This keeps my dog occupied for longer than other treat dispensing balls because of the metered top compartment and two adjustable openings, which are awesome because if your kibble changes you aren’t stuck with holes too big like on many others that rely on you trimming back the rubber prongs that hold back tears (most of the petsafe toys.) i do wish the top compartment was bigger, and maybe if there was an internal baffle to slow it down more.
We thought our puppy was tired of his kibble. Apparently we just needed to buy him this. He will play with this while we’re getting ready in the morning and happily gobble up his food like it’s treats. It’s great to put in the kennel to entertain him during the day too. Easy to adjust the challenge level. It’s the only puzzle feeder to hold up to his teeth so far. We use it for part of EVERY meal. It keeps him engaged more than others we’ve tried because it moves unexpectedly. Best purchase I’ve made.
I got this for my pit who is recovering from a fractured leg, since she can’t go on long walks. At first, she was scared of it and would bark when treats didn’t come out. But now, she loves pushing and knocking it around. It definitely keeps her busy. I’m not sure if I would give it to her unsupervised though because she likes to chew.
My eleven year old Golden Retriever cannot have enough of this toy! I put small kibble in it and the play and interaction never stops. I bring it out for special playtime a few times a day. My nine year old black lab did not get it and quickly lost interest, but loves to grab a treat when the other dog makes it happen!
My lab is almost 11, but still high energy and highly-food motivated. He's had a Kong wobble feeder for years, but I got this for some variety. As many other reviews mention, the yellow cap is highly tempting to chew off. My dog has NEVER attempted to break apart his wobble kong and was trying to chew this one to bits the first go-around. That wouldn't be such a big issue if I only used it when I could supervise him, but this thing is almost impossible to fill! The package says it has two "adjustable" openings, but one is interior, under the yellow cap. That means you basically have to put in kibble/treats one by one, and there is no way to access the main comparment - definitely not something user-friendly for regular feeding. I also think the food caught in the yellow cap that hadn't fallen into the main cavity was what triggered the chewing attempts. Finally, the "adjustable" openings are sticky and hard to adjust, and unless you have microscopic treats, you'll want the openings fully open regardless. Feeder toys like these are a great concept, but this one is a total fail.
My dog LOVES this! She’s a recent rescue and we don’t know her background, but she does not play like most dogs. I needed something to give her a more independent activity to make her feel busy. Toys that involve food are all she’s interested in. I like that the opening at the top and bottom are both adjustable, to make it less or more challenging as needed. Holds a decent amount of kibble. She hears the food rattle inside and gets so excited! This makes her “work” for her food, so much that she’ll sometimes stop for a quick break, smiling the whole time, and go right back to it! This is not something I would just leave her alone with to occupy her time. It’s made with a really tough plastic, but I can see how a dog may try to chew through it. Well worth every penny!
We've had this toy previously, for our Dobermans, so I thought I'd get one for my new rescue. The large is much to big for her, & I realize we must have had a medium for the others. This would be great for a Dane or Giant Schnauzer, but it's a bit too large for my Dobe. Still, it's a great toy.
Our large breed puppy LOVES this thing! He would rather eat his kibble in tiny bits out of this toy than eat his dinner out of his food dish. It keeps him busy when we have zoom meetings and he Carrie’s it around
I purchased the large size for my 56 lb, 8 mos. old puppy. He is a chewer! But with all toys, you need to supervise. When he started to chew the yellow cap, I said no or I just picked it up and put it out of reach, he learned will quickly it was a tool for him to enjoy his food at a slower pace. Several reviews talk about the loading area for food is too small, it is designed that way for a reason - if you for instance feed a cup of food, place 1/2 the food in the purple part and the remaining 1/2 stays in the yellow portion - as the toy "bobs" around from the puppy playing with the toy, the food in the yellow portion eventually drops down to the purple part. This gives puppy longer time to enjoy food, hence causing him to eat slower.
