Nice, heavy gauge wire crates. The bowls are high quality, too. The mats seem pretty thin but, our chubby labs are happy enough to lounge on them in the crates - at least for short periods of time. However, the shipping to get the crates themselves was much slower than expected/promised - 10 days. I paid a bit more for crates from Chewy because of the convenience of quick, door delivery. Given the long shipping interval, I would have been better off to just buy a couple of crates, mats, and bowls from a local big box store. I don't like the design of the wire clips that keep the crates closed when folded flat. But, when the crate is in use, those clips cannot be folded out of the way or clipped in place. They just stick out on the door side of the crate to be stepped on or catch claws. Dumb design.
I purchased this a s a bundle. It did not ship together as I expected. I have had the crate for several days, and still days away from getting the mat. Assembly was a nightmare. The instructions were in the bottom of the crate, and you could not get to them without the instructions. When assembling one of the prongs actually broke off. The crate is still functional without it, as it is for a docile Standard Poodle. But it could be problematic if the dog was prone to trying to escape. Also, I am not a fan of the way the doors lock. But for the price it is a decent product, and I will be keeping because I am too lazy to return. If you have a dog that may escape, it is probably not the crate for you. I really wished it all shipped together instead of in 3 packages.
The order was fine, but after spending that much on my first order I would think I'd get all credits.
