Rabbit Packing Pellets
By kjminniti on Jan 11, 2021
I have three cats: two raised from kittens, one a feral rescue. The feral rescue is the only one who would eat this stuff - I think she recognized the smell. The other two drank a little of the "gravy" I made with the re-hydrating water, but wouldn't touch the solids. The product comes out of the package looking like packing peanuts, with the same consistency. Sadly, they just turn to mush once re-hydrated. There is no "chew" to it. Not going to work as a staple, much less an evening treat for my kids. If you have feral rescues, give it a try!

The only food our cat with IBS can tolerate
By Petmama on Jan 16, 2021
Seriously, this is the only food our rescue cat with IBS can tolerate without her irritable bowel acting up (and we have tried dozens of food brands and varieties along with three prescription foods). I guess this makes sense since outdoor cats hunt rabbits. Why don't cat food companies make cat food in rodent protein (chipmunk, mole, mice)? As unappealing as that sounds, when we had outdoor cats years ago, they mostly hunted and ate rodents and an occasional bird as their main source of food.

Finally a healthy food for my picker eater
By Gemcat4 on Jan 17, 2021
I bought this for my cat recently diagnosed with diabetes who wasn’t doing well on the vet prescribed diabetic food. While the jury is still out on how this might impact his diabetic progress....my 2nd cat who is a very picky eater and addicted to kibble, who I’ve been struggling with eating enough now that he can’t graze all day is in love with this food. Finally I have some relief knowing he’s eating enough of a healthy food!

Cat loves, loves, loves this!
By Karen on Jan 1, 2021
When I first rehydrated this food, it looked so weird I thought there was no way my cat would eat it. I was very wrong; my cat knew I had something different and he was very excited, ate it all and lapped up the extra water. I still feed his other wet food, but have noticed my cat is more active and playful since adding the raw food. He has IBD, and I’m hoping the change in his behavior means he’s feeling less discomfort.

Pan Pan Loves This
By Sonya on Jan 21, 2021
My kitten loves this. The size is pretty big so after I rehydrate the food, I pull it a part to smaller pieces, makes it easier for the kitten to eat. My Pan Pan is 3 months old and has no problem eating this. She licks up all the water that I rehydrate the food with. It makes me happy to see my baby happy.

My Cats Said “I’ll Pass”
By Jess on Dec 24, 2020
I bought this because one of my cats suffers from IBD and I cannot feed her the regular wet food my other cat eats. I presented this to both cats as a Christmas treat this evening. Both looked at me like I was crazy that I expected them to eat this after I rehydrated it. After smelling it, I can’t blame them. Even though they hated the food, I was super impressed Chewy was able to ship this to me in less than 48 hours in the middle of a shipping nightmare.

Yummy dinner or dry treat
By Snowball on Dec 4, 2020
Our kitty likes this food. We need to feed a 100% rabbit diet due to allergies. We hydrate the nuggets with lots of hot water and let it sit until the food cools. The extra water becomes flavored (the nuggets do not "flavor" cold water as well as hot). He happily licks up the rabbit water before eating his dinner. Our vet advised that we should ALWAYS completely hydrate the dry nuggets since dry nuggets can cause severe constipation. But that an occasional dry nugget as a treat is OK. This food is expensive, so we combine it with other 100% rabbit products (including prescription diet food).

Amazing food for cats with allergies
By Dejavu4u on Dec 10, 2020
I have a kitty with bad allergies at the time instincts limited ingredient rabit was helping but after a year and my fur babie still scratching lots I did more research only to learn that product uses pea flour something known to cause cats to itch...buddy never has liked freez dried food until now he went through a 3.5 oz bag in less then a week. I am so happy I found this Thank you

Amazing for sensitive stomachs
By Kath on Nov 17, 2020
Came across this after a desperate search for cat diarrhea help. Pandemic and apartment living made me more intimately acquainted with the litter box. My cat is a diabetic who had been on DM food. I like that this food is high protein and ok for diabetic cats. I could tell a difference within 24 hours! My cat went from going after every meal to just once a day like the other cat. I honestly don’t know if it’s this food or the lack of the other one but it worked! I didn’t think my cat would eat it. The food is strange looking large dry clumps but he loves it. Takes a bit getting used to with the water and amount. It’s also a bit expensive. I think I’m hooked!

Surprisingly Loved by All
By KittySkat8 on Jan 9, 2021
My cats loved the Rabbit Dinner Morsels. I was shocked because I tried other freeze dried raw food that pet shops didn't sell and they wouldn't touch it. I wish they were less expensive (I have 8 cats!).
