    Next best thing to fresh ground rabbit. My Havanese just craves it - keeps him lean, trim and happy. At 14 lbs., I feed him 2-1/2 patties each meal (+/- depending on snacks/activity level). I break up patties and rehydrate w/luke warm water x5-10 minutes (usually while making my own dinner). I wet it Next best thing to fresh ground rabbit.     Love the protein, not crazy about the texture

    This is the first time I've purchased the rabbit patties, and I'm not sure if this is just specific to the protein, but the patties are HARD! I've purchased the puppy beef/salmon and puppy chicken/salmon patties before and they crumble fairly easily. I've purchased the puppy beef/salmon and puppy chicken/salmon patties before and they crumble fairly easily. I almost sprained a thumb trying to break these apart. I poured a little Kefir over them and they were still pretty solid. It took my dog a few tries to figure out how to eat them. They fell out of her mouth a few times because I think she expected them to melt in her mouth like her other freeze dried patties, but once she figured out that she needed to use her teeth, she had an easier time eating it. Texture aside, I love the variety of protein and introducing rabbit to her diet. She loves chasing rabbits, so I thought she might enjoy eating it, which I think she does. … more
