All the Benefits of
Raw Nutrition
Give your stealthy carnivore all the meat she can dream of with Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels. For pet parents that don't have time to prepare fresh raw foods or to wait for frozen food to thaw, freeze-dried is the best answer. These bite-size nuggets give kitties a feast of meat, organ and bones just like their wildcat ancestors. And to meet all of their nutritional needs, these recipes are formulated with added vitamins and minerals, probiotics and taurine.
The Prey Model Diet
It's only natural that your cat craves real meat—her body is designed to eat a diet that relies heavily on it. Stella & Chewy's makes it easy to feed your domesticated feline friend this prey model diet. Each recipe has 98% meat, nutrient-rich organs and bone, and there are no added hormones or antibiotics. All you have to do is rehydrate and serve. In just one minute, you'll have a wholesome, protein-rich dinner for your hungry tiger. As a bonus, she gets more water in her diet to keep her hydrated to support urinary tract health.
Raw Feeding Helps:

Minimal Processing,
Maximum Flavor
Heavy processing of ingredients can diminish the nutritional value. But with freeze-dried, the end product still retains its beneficial nutrients. Frozen raw nuggets go into a freeze-dryer to remove moisture without ever applying heat or letting them thaw. So they come out with all the flavor, vitamins, minerals, omegas and amino acids they went in with. Plus, you'll never have to keep it in the freezer or defrost it.

Innovative Food
Safety Technology
Food safety is always a concern, especially with raw foods. Stella & Chewy's takes every precaution with their SecureByNature food safety process that's recognized by the USDA and FDA. The ingredients undergo a special, 100% natural cold-press process that creates water pressure similar to that found near the ocean's floor. No harmful bacteria can survive, and there's no heat to damage nutrients and diminish flavor. Each batch is tested by an independent lab, and the results are even posted online for you to see.
Ethically Sourced Ingredients
Stella & Chewy's sources everything that goes into your pet's food from reputable suppliers that guarantee the integrity of the ingredients. Meat, poultry and fish are responsibly sourced from all over the world. The wholesome fruit and vegetables are certified organic, and nothing comes from China.

About Stella & Chewy's
The story of Stella & Chewy's starts with two lucky rescue dogs named Stella and Chewy—and Chewy was a pretty sick pup. Their new pet parent, Marie Moody, started both of her new family members on a raw diet, and she watched them thrive. Eager to bring the same amazing prey model diet to other pets, Marie soon developed innovative food safety measures to create her own version of raw pet food—the Stella & Chewy's frozen and freeze-dried dinners and mixers that you know and love.

My cats' wouldn't eat it.
By Westcoaster on Feb 27, 2021
I bought it because I want to get my cats on healthier diet and lose weight. I have 4, and not too picky. The chunks are pretty large for cats and did not hydrate quickly at all. Much of it did not get soft at all. I received a full refund form Chewy, as that is their policy for anything you are not satisfied with. I will donate the food to the local shelter and am sure they can use it.

Expensive! But good
By Layn on Feb 15, 2021
we wanted to buy some thing more natural and organic for our sphinx cats, so we went with this brand after researching and asking other sphinx cat owners. Initially we started feeding only Stella and chewies food, but it became very expensive as we went through one bag per three weeks and a bag is $40. So now we started mixing it with a can of wet food and some hills dry food and it’s more economical. The cats absolutely love it and eat it up within seconds!

Best Freeze-Dried out there!
By Justin on Jan 31, 2021
I used Freeze-Dried raw as a topper for my cat’s wet food, to supplement extra organ meat into their diets. This has by far been the best received. All my cats love them. My pickiest girl prefers them crumbled over her food, but my other two will eat them in their morsel form. The morsels themselves are pretty big, so one each as a topper works great. Whenever these are mixed into their daily wet food, they lick their bowls clean! Definitely my go-to freeze-dried raw diet for my cats from now on!

Raw, min. Ingredients for my ferret
By Rosalita on Feb 16, 2021
Ferrets are obligate carnivores so finding food that is strictly meat is a little tricky. Most foods contain fillers and things they cannot eat like potatoes and peas. This is all meats. My ferret doesn't like this dry so I make a "soup" with it; warm water and two chunks mashed up just enough to sop up most of the water.

I was looking for a better food.
By ShariBee on Jan 26, 2021
When I opened the bag the cats, particularly the kittens, went nuts (Jumping up trying to get the bag, wrapping around my feet, etc). When I put it in the water they continued until I had some rehydrated. They tasted it and walked away. They completely lost interest. The next day I mashed some up, again they took a little taste and no more. I tried leaving it out. I tried soaking it so it was like soup. Nothing.

Too new cats to this food
By ginny on Feb 20, 2021
I have 4 inside cats , 2yrs., 4yrs., 11 yr. Olds plus 4 outside kittens all 11 mos. old(their mom left them at 6 or 7 wks. old. They all are o.k. with this supplement but too young/too old to really judge how well it meets their approval as it is new to all.

The Ferals Love It!
By UrbanCat on Feb 19, 2021
I have an xtra finicky fur baby, so it's really not fair to say she didn't like it. My other cat nibbles at it, but I suspect she is allergic to chicken. So..., out the door it goes, to the ever so grateful wild ones in my neighborhood.

Headline must be 10 characters, but it's such a chore to be forced to do this
By Lauren on Feb 15, 2021
Even my picky cat likes S&C - she's picky about what flavor of wet and dry she gets, and we've started substituting more of this in with her chicken flavored dry food, and she actually likes it! The tuna raw food works wonders as a wet food, too!

Good quality food
By Gizmo2002 on Jan 24, 2021
You can tell this is better food for your pet. But my cats would not touch it. I tried so many different ways to serve it to them but the look I got from them was, are you kidding? With 3 cats who turned it down, I am on the search for another alternative of freeze dried, frozen raw cat food.
