About Stella & Chewy's Wild Red Dog Food
Stella & Chewy’s Wild Red
Wild Red Health Benefits
This food is exactly what we were looking for. There is ALWAYS a good amount of freeze dried chunks and my boarder collie gets so excited to eat his food. He never has digestive issues and his overall health is in perfect condition.
This is a great food! My dog loves it, his sensitive stomach likes it, and I like the ingredients!
I have no idea why my dog is having diarrhea with this food... this has really good ingredients. I end up calling and got refunded. Anyways don't feed this if your dog is sensitive.
I switched to this food (mixed w/ orijen & Squarepet) because the Canidae Raw kibble was discontinued; I'd chosen that food, similarly to this one, because it DOESNT have peas, legumes, or potatoes. As they've been associated (potentially) with DCM (cardiomyopathy). Since so many grain free foods are so heavily saturated with peas/potatoes, it's surprisingly hard to find grain free foods without them. This one fit the bill and my dogs love it. With that said, I order this food in this flavor with and/or without the little freeze dried bits because honestly, there's HARDLY any of them in it. Unless there's a sale or they're equally priced to the bag w/o them, I just get the normal bag and buy Instinct's freeze dried kibble bits and add them. It's not 'cheaper' this way, but it's just a bit more $$ and you actually get a significant amount of the freeze dried bits that way. Otherwise, like all dry foods who do this (Wellness core raw rev) there's next to none in there. It's so frustrating. To summarize, this is a highly recommended food. It's raw coated and like I said, none of the questionable ingredients all other foods have.
My dog has been eating Stella and Chewy for about a year. They provide a healthy diet that is 100% sourced made and produced in the USA. I'm confident in the brand.
This is one of the better foods to give your dog.
I mix this 50/50 with Victor Yukon and my rescue dog loves it!
First of all let be be fair. He’s very picky and I finally found a dog food he loved and I never had to add anything too.. Stella and Chewy’s raw blend RED MEAT i found at a local pet store. May of been grass fed. So I’m Not sure why this was called WILD RED BUT it’s misleading. He wasn’t eating it and I didn’t know why. Well he won’t eat fowel maybe it’s his bread. He’s an English springer. They retrieve it not eat it. Also hardly and raw kibble at all. Like I had to dig for a piece to put in his bowl which was not good I’m sad because while I did receive a discount on this item I also lost tha discount for what I really wanted but was not in stock .. He really loves and only eats the Red Meat raw blend
The blend ratio is marginally unequal, with the raw bits probably being 50 in number. My girl is not showing any interest in this flavor as she does with the others. I am stuck with a large bag. I would prefer not buying a grain-free formula anymore.
My blue heeler was having loose stools and problems with his food. Until we tried this. Dogs need grains in their diet who ever said they don't is a fool. Think about it ,when they kill food in the wild the would eat rabbits, mice and other critters like this. When they would consume them they would also eat what the rabbit or mice was eating and they eat grains. Think about it. Wholesome grains diet is a key to a long life for your dog. There are to many dogs passing away at ten years old... It their diet.
