When it comes to transitioning to any food, a slow transition over 7-10 days is recommended; it is the same case when transitioning to our food too. To start, we recommend mixing the new food in with what you're currently feeding and slowly building up until the new food is the sole food that you're feeding/that your dog is enjoying. Even if your dog isn't eating their current diet, it's important to start off small with new food and introduce it slowly, as sudden changes to diet can cause digestive issues.

The Wild Red Raw blend kibble is manufactured in the United States.
doesn’t require refrigeration does it?
Answer by • Jul 06, 2021
This recipe does not require refrigeration. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain freshness, ensure the bag is completely sealed after opening and store in a container.
Our Old English Sheepdog had gone wonderfully on Stella and Chewy’s Free Range blend decided to try the Wild Red due to absence of legumes. First the pieces were incredible small and would have to fish pieces out between his gum and lip, he developed very loose stool and stinky. Went back to the Free Range and 100% again. It may work for some, but I’d buy a little bag first.

Great Food
My 16 year old Yorkie is VERY picky. She has needed to be on a prescription food for years but I can’t get her to eat it . She’s had digestive problems and skin allergies. My friend gave me some of her food to try and my dog will eat it! No allergies anymore! No digestive issues

I bought 2 large bags my dog seems to despise this,
It took months to get through bag one
On bag two,
It’s like he’s rather starve than eat this
I occasionally mix it with wet food.
He tries to eat around it.
He was a rescue.
He only wants what I eat!
I dunno what’s wrong with it?
That it’s so awful to him?

DO NOT FEED THIS TO YOUR DOG
Bought this brand to give it try, my dogs are this and got sick, vomiting, and now simply will not eat this food. Read some of the reviews online and discovered food has is has done same to others.. one owners Vet even advised to throw away cuz it does harm to your pet. Love my dogs like my children… going back to other brand.

I’d recommend
Oliver loves this food!! 100% worth the purchase, although a little on the expensive side. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but he’s eating this so fast and at a hundred bucks a bag ( rounded) it’s an expensive meal to be eating all darn day long.. surprised that this particular bag hasn’t gave him gas like the prairie recipient did. But he loves it and would recommend to an owner who loves their animal like I love my bean… I added some pics of the freeze dried food to a normal red grape for comparison. Hope this helps!!

My dog doesn't like it
It says Freeze-dried raw meat coats, thought it's gonna taste good, but my dog didn't like it. She was not a picky eater at all, Idk why she doesn't like this dog food.

The fix for my fussy doggy
My 9 year old rescue is the best thing we have ever done. We adore her. However, finding a food she will consistently eat is a challenge. We tried Purina Pro, with and without grain, Rachael Ray (which she likes), NomNom, toppers, ground beef with rice and peas, shredded chicken, and finally this! She really likes it. Though still wants to sample whatever the cats are getting. The little dehydrated nuggets are a treat, but, like the marshmallows in a box of Lucky Charms, there could be more in the bag.
