Good food, dog didn’t like it

I tried this because it was similar to the Red “Raw Blend” red meat recipe. I even thought they’d like the raw coated better than grain free red raw blend, but I was wrong. The only way I can get them to eat it is with wet food topper or shredded chicken topper. Now that the grain free version is available, we are going back. I can still recommend it but be careful if your dog is used to grain free red meat food.

Good food and reliable delivery

Love the ingredients and my dogs loved the previous version that suddenly became unavailable. My picky eater isn’t a fan of this version, nor is the other schnauzer, but he’ll eat it when mixed with a topper. My older schnauzer was vomiting when we first tried this and I think it was the hamburger topper I was making for them because he has puked since I switched to shredded chicken topper.

Dogs will not eat it

I'm sure this is a great food, but my three dogs will not eat it. My heeler actually dumps his bowl and tries to bury the food in the carpet.

Dare I Say Gimmick?

Granted, my GSD is a picky eater. I thought this food was going to be steps above other kibble, especially given the HIGH price relative to other QUALITY kibbles. My pooch's taste test says no. I see this as another kibble, excellent marketing, and a gimmick. If you have a picky eater, I do not recommend this kibble.

Disappointed

Ended up with a double order of the 21lbs bags. We are about half way thru first bag after slowly blending in the Wild Red with his American Journey Beef. Not impressed, neither is my English Pointer.

He loves it!

11 & 1/2 yr old, 75 lb, Bull Mastiff/ German Shepard/ Hound mix absolutely loved it! A long history of ear infections led us to try something "more natural". He's never attack dry kibble with such enthusiasm before! So far so good :)

Bebette's Favorite Dry Food

This food is fantastic. I have a medium mix breed who I adopted as a picky eater. She loves this food. I top it with Stella and Chewy's Stew and in seconds this is gone. Also, and not to be too gross, her poops are great. So there is that endorsement.
