Stewart Beef Liver Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Treats

My dog loves them, me not so much

I was looking for healthier treats for my boxer with limited ingredients and figured these were a great choice. She loves these treats so much she licks the floor to make sure she didn’t miss anything. The problem however, is they gave her gas, terrible gas that was so frequent and putrid that I could not fall asleep. I literally had to drape a blanket over her butt to try to contain the smell at 2am. It barely helped so I resorted to sleeping with my shirt over my face. This was the result of 2 treats, one at 1pm and one at 4pm…. which is much less than the recommendation on the package for her weight. The gas was still full force 10 hours after her last treat. Nothing else with her routine or diet changed. This morning she’s back to normal, and I need a break so will reintroduce them in a day or so very very slowly to see if that helps manage the gas. I recommend them since she loves them but if you have a gassy pup be very mindful of how you incorporate to their treat routine.

Not what I hoped

Wanting a nutritious treat for my treat loving dogs. Seems all Their treats are rawhides and chews so I thought "Ah! Liver" One sniff and they ran. The cat even seemed interested but no go. I took Them to the Animal Shelter close to me and they laughed and said there was no animal There that would eat those but they would try them. Lesson learned! Everybody hates anything liver.

Years Worth of Goodness

I bought these for my first dog back around 2005 until he passed in 2012. Now that I have Clara and Amos, I’d forgotten about them. It wasn’t until i was looking for a new treat that these came into view! Love the freeze dried form, and love the beef liver as it can provide my dogs with iron. Clara and Amos love them!! Brought back happy memories of my first dog Cappy. Will continue to keep buying these as long as I have dogs!!’

Dogs love them

I have been using these treats for my dogs for several years now, and they just love them. I have two German shepherds, and they are a very healthy treat for them. I even gave what was on the bottom Of the container, which was crumbs to my sisters dog, who is a very picky eater. He mixes the crumbs in with his food and he eats it right up. She said she is so happy to have found this because she can mix it in with his food and it gets him to eat. It is pure beef, liver and dogs. love it and it’s healthy for them.

Best training treat EVER

Wow! It's hard to believe how motivated our pup is for these treats. We'd been struggling to teach her one of the basics, but as soon as we introduced her to the Stewart beef liver treats, she GOT it and now consistently responds to the training prompt. For now, we're saving this treat for that command only, to reinforce the training, but I can see that it'll be a great motivator in the future as we expand her training. Thanks!

My "kids" all love these liver treats! I have to make sure to order at least a week before we run out. I'm certain the delivery driver would be horrified to find all 5 of the dogs in the driveway waiting for him :)

Quality control issues

My dog likes them fine but the quality control is atrocious. I planned to break these into smaller pieces to give as high value treats but several pieces are literally an inch thick and others are maybe a cm, a fair amount of it is powder. Very inconsistent.

Best treats ever

These are the absolute favorite treat my dogs have had yet, rivaled only by the Stella and Chewy freeze dried chicken hearts. I have a formerly feral dog, and when he's feeling weird and nervous - these always bring his attention back into focus.

Beemer Approved!

My Golden Retriever pup (16 months) loves this treat (he also loves socks so I’m not sure his taste buds are that picky lol)! I had been using Costco’s bacon and cheese bites for training but the Vet says he’s fat so these treats are a better option for training…thank Goodness he’s happy with them!
