  • Dogs loved them

    By on

I opened the container and gave one to each pup (we have three). I closed the container and put it in what I thought was a safe place. Dogs loved them so much they went after the container and knocked it to the floor trying to get more. They've never done this before with any other treat.

  • Also found fat

    By on

We had been using these treats for at least four years. We loved them, our dogs loved them. We found a large piece of fat and a couple smaller pieces of fat in our last tub. The pieces had looked like the rest until you broke them apart and discovered the fat. I will not be buying this product again.

  • Beware Pancreatitis dogs and cats

    By on

Beware...We started noticing lots of large and small pieces of pure FAT! It would melt in the heat of your hand. I have attached pics for reference. Our dog has chronic pancreatitis and cannot eat fat. I am now sorting thru the entire tub for hunks of fat and sharp pieces until our supply is gone. We will not purchase this product anymore.

  • Dogs go Ga-Ga for it!

    By on

My dogs love this stuff...especially Autumn my boxer who suffers from anemia and we are hoping that adding in the liver to her diet will help with that (have to wait minum of 8 weeks). I grind it into a powder (have to use a knife to cut it up in smaller pieces first) & small pieces on her dry food and she wolfs it down. Always like to see a declining dog with a clean bowl! lol Plain just great treats. Don't give too many too fast work up gradually as it may cause GI upset-Liver is a very rich treat. Works well for training. Highly scented (helps keep attention) and would make excellent training tools for scent dogs or dogs who are vision impaired. Good price too!

  • What a deal!

Our dogs love these freeze-dried liver treats. I have been purchasing them from a chain pet store but found I seemed to be running over there all the time, I decided to see if Chewy.com carried them and was pleasantly surprised to find that they not only carried them but that they offered a larger size 21 oz. vs. 14 oz from the pet store and the price was so much cheaper. I put this on auto ship and as usual received it in just two days. I have been using Chewy.com for quite a while now. All our dogs' food comes from Chewy and always arrives in a timely fashion and is a lot cheaper than purchasing this food from our Vet. Can't say enough good things about Chewy.com.

  • A special treat

    By on

    My pups love LOVE these freeze dried treats. They are not messy, or greasy at all. Small enough to hide in treat balls or the IQ hide-a-treat toys. I like the fact that they have ONE ingredient: Beef Liver. Period. YAY! Real food, not preservative filled junk :o}

  • Love Love these treats!!

    By on

I have been giving these treats to my German Shepherds for about 2 years now.. They love them. I use them for training treats, and use the dust part for my pregnant picky females, I sprinkle over their food. And if some pieces are too big, I cut in half. These are the best and so worth the price.

  • Great treats

    By on

These are great all natural treats! My vet surgeon uses these to entice for physical therapy. My picky Golden loves them. Added bonus she has shed six pounds as these are low calorie.

  • Pretty OK :)

    By on

I always keep these on hand, as I like a rotation for treats. I haven't ever had a dog spit them out, but I honestly haven't ever had any of my dogs spit out any treat ever. They can be a little large for training, but they're inconsistently sized so there are also perfectly sized pieces. I will usually cut the bigger pieces up, or use them for going in crates or "bigger" rewards than a training session calls for.

  • Great treat.

My dogs really like it both big and small. The only thing I have an issue with is that they are relatively hard. My older dogs like the liver ones better. They dissolve or can be powered up easily.
