My picky eater loves them!!!
By Lisa on Feb 15, 2021
I have three Labradoodle dogs, Tucker, Cooper and Phoebe. Cooper my cream colored boy is my picky eater, who only likes chicken jerky strips. He literally hates every other treat that I buy. He’s five years old and has always been picky. Tucker is also five years old, and Phoebe, my new puppy is three months old. They both will eat any treat, so I wasn’t going to lose buying these. Every time I buy a new treat, Cooper sniffs it and looks at me wondering where his chicken jerky strip is. This sniff was different, he actually took it. I watched to see if he would drop it and walk away, but he ate it and came back for more! He even started doing every trick he knows to get another one. All I can say is, “I’m shocked!” Along with this beef liver treat, I also bought beef lungs, pig ears and several different beef bones. He didn’t like any of them. The beef liver and the beef lungs are both single ingredient products. The beef liver is freeze dried and the beef lungs are oven roasted. Anyway, I’m just thrilled that he now has a new treat that he loves! … more

A MUST-HAVE FOR DOG & CAT OWNERS!
By Carole on Feb 2, 2021
When I found these treats several years ago I liked the fact that they were made in the USA and they had no chemicals in them. Just freeze dried liver! I have a dog sitting business and haven't yet found a dog who hasn't liked these. Please remember that these are rich and that you only need a little piece. For my smaller dogs, I take the large pieces that come in the tub and cut them into little pieces. This all depends on the size of the dog, though. Even my cat likes little pieces of the liver treat. Another thing is that there is bit of liver dust in the bottom of the container which is great for sprinkling on top of food when a dog is hesitant to eat. Great product
By CollieMom on Feb 21, 2021
Delighted with the large size of the container and number of treats so very reasonably priced by unit unlike many treats these days. Very nutritious low-calorie no smell. My eight-month-old was hesitant at first but then when he saw his big brother take one and enjoy it he decided to try it and now he loves them too. They make a great special treat when they come in from playing in the yard and really didn’t want to come in yet!

Great training treats
By sapphireblu76 on Feb 10, 2021
Our new puppy eagerly accepts these treats, however, I really wish the pieces were much smaller. Yes, I cut these up for her, but I think I'd rather have them come already very small and give more for jackpot rewards, rather than have to prep them before training. Perhaps they could be offered for sale in both sizes? I realize Chewy is not in charge of this, but perhaps the Stewart company will see the feedback, too?

Even the pickiest eaters love these!
By Kricket on Jan 23, 2021
I always suggest these for high-value dog treats, I haven't met a dog who hasn't gone wild over these! I do suggest cutting them into smaller pieces though, especially for smaller or younger dogs. I throw a few pieces into a pouch of my dogs daily food to act as treats, it helps scent them for higher-value treats. Note that there IS empty space inside of it, as it's weight-based and not volume-based. Some pieces are very large, other ones are very small, but you do get your moneys worth if you're looking for a training treat. I also know of people grinding this up and adding it over food when older dogs aren't eating enough, to entice them.

High value reward!
By Annie on Jan 26, 2021
Most dogs see these as a very high value reward. I’ve worked at multiple veterinary hospitals that use them as treats because so many dogs prefer them to other treats and will eat them in a stressful environment. The pieces are a variety of sizes and the larger ones can be cut into small training treats, which is what I use them for at home. The dust can be sprinkled onto their food or mixed with other tasty things to stuff Kongs. I’ve used the dust to get dogs with poor appetites eating again by sprinkling in their food. Great product!

An immediate hit
By Kate on Feb 6, 2021
I got these as a high value treat while training, and when my dog saw me holding these, she would sit and lie down so fast she made an audible thud. She comes running when I shake the container and lets me handle her paws and trim her nails for a piece. They definitely smell, but they’re liver and that’s expected; when the container is closed the smell doesn’t leak out so it won’t be a bother.

absolutely amazing!
By Lumi on Feb 7, 2021
A whole 21 oz tub lasted my 4-month puppy, 4 months! Extremely worth it and she goes crazy for this every time! she never gets tired of these also and she'll pretty much do anything for these, ALL THE TIME. She's also on a GI diet so that means her stomach is very very sensitive. These treats bode with her very well. Will try other flavours for her <3

Tasty Treats!
By FurbabyMeemaw on Feb 21, 2021
My oldest furgrandchild is picky. He is a foster fail who had a not awesome life before my human daughter adopted him. So for his birthday I spoiled him! And this is one of the treats I chose. He gobbled one down immediately and that says something. He doesn’t like most dog treats.

Yum Yum Yum!
By PugLover on Feb 19, 2021
My Pug goes goo goo gah gah over these! A great reward treat, although they are all different sizes. I like the many sizes of treat you can buy because if you have a smaller dog, a big box will go bad faster. Love how there is only one ingredient, totally recommend!
