My Lhasa tends to be extremely finicky about what he eats so I have to be very careful when I give him a new treat. However, my vet had some in her office on a recent visit and he absolutely loved the single sample he got. So I bought a container from Chewy's and he looks forward to this treat every time it's offered.

My dog doesn't love treats when we're walking. She is more interested in the smells and other animals, but she loves these. Enough that she's learning to come back even if there's another dog to meet nearby. Definitely takes consistency and practice, but these treats definitely make it much easier to train her. (I would recommend the larger tubs though as the treats go pretty quickly with training)

For the special moments and a good reward, I would recommend this treat although keeping in mind that they are just momentary treats and not a substitute for a dogs regular nutritional meals.
Duck Liver Treats

My sheltie accepts the Steward Pro-Treat Duck Liver Freeze-Dried Treats with mild enthusiasm. If she were to speak English, she would say, "These are just OK. Don't you have anything better for my reward?"

My Dog is Obsessed
on Oct 3, 2018
My dog is obsessed with these! Literally revolutionized our training with him! They’re so easily breakable with your fingers that they’re great to break into small pieces for small training rewards!

My dog is very picky. He is crazy about these treats.
My dogs love this stuff, but .......

I've tried 3 kinds of Stewart's liver types so far and this container is 2/3 to 4/5 of pieces that would be small for a 4 pound dog. My dogs are medium size and that makes most of the container useless for training. The beef liver had about 1/4 tiny pieces and the Turky liver is mostly good sized with little to no tiny stuff. Some beef pieces are large enough they need cutting in half. I gave this Duck liver a 3 star in hopes it's contents are an exception. I will have to use most of it as a topper and not training treats. It's too expensive to use that way even though the dogs get the nutritional benefits of the liver and I don't use a topper anyway as they get fresh food meals.
