Not as impressed as I am with their other products. My dog doesn’t get as excited for these as they have a bit of a chalky consistency. I like that they do not have chicken in them but will probably not buy again since turkey is still poultry. worth a try, though :)

This package has a horrible smell! The other ones I’ve ordered were fine, but this one smells like chemicals or paint thinner. My dog would not eat them.

I have a Jack Russell who is hard to please. He liked these, although he seems to like other Stewart's treats more. Overall a good product and will buy again.

A Mixed Review By Zoe
By Mega on Mar 11, 2018 Top 100 Contributor
When we first received these treats Zoe was excited to try them out as she always is when her Chewy box is delivered. She eagerly gobbled it down but, later, when I offered it to her she consistently turned it down and begged for something else. Sooo...out to the car it went so that I could treat her with one after she sat still to get her seat belt on. Now she gobbles them down and wants more. Hmmm...how weird is that? In the house, no, but in the car, a definite yes! Okay, Zoe, you may be a little weird and fickle but I still love you!

Perfect high-value treat or mix-in, and great ingredients!
By JandJ on Jun 23, 2017 Top 10 Contributor
My very-picky dog loves these treats, and I love the ingredient list. They are around an inch cubed; not small enough for training but not so big that I'm worried about packing on the pounds by giving my dog a few of them. They have a nice soft texture that will crumble fairly easily, not like some hard/crunchy freeze dried treats, and are also really easy to crush and sprinkle over kibble to add some variety to your dog's meal. They can be a little too fragile for a treat-bag and would be too big for a small dog, but are perfect for my dog. Highly recommended!

dogs say so-so

My dogs all like the stewart's freeze dried food but only two of them like the treats. not sure why that is. it works really well as a training treat for the two that do like it.
