Description

When Destructo-Kitty won't stop clawing furniture or ripping curtains, something's gotta give. Sticky Paws Furniture Strips are a completely safe, humane alternative to declawing; just apply the transparent tape with texture cats can't stand to touch to the object being clawed and Destructo-Kitty will decide it's just more fun to find a bug to chase.

Key Benefits
  • Transparent adhesive training aids that can be used virtually anywhere without leaving sticky residue, easy to apply and remove
  • Ideal for use on screens, furniture, carpets, and any area that has become the focus of your cat's unwanted attention, discourages cats from clawing and pawing
  • Medical-grade adhesive strips apply directly to furnishings and are harmless to cats and furniture when used as directed
  • Helps control inappropriate elimination
  • 2" x 12" strips come in packages of 24
Precautions

Sticky Paws may damage certain surfaces (including wood finishes, painted surfaces, leather, vinyl, microfiber and wallpaper), so always test a small piece of Sticky Paws on an inconspicuous area before applying. Sticky Paws is ineffective on surfaces treated with non-stick and/or stain-repellent products, such as Scotchgard. HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Sticky Paws is not intended for animal or human consumption, and may cause injury or death. If ingestion occurs, seek immediate medical attention.

Instructions
  1. Extend Sticky Paws tape from the roll to equal the required length of coverage, then carefully cut tape with the built-in cutter. Place sticky side of clear adhesive tape onto the desired area and press firmly until completely adhered to the surface.
  2. With Sticky Paws tape in place, carefully crack and peel away remaining layer of white contact paper. The tape adheres to the surface for weeks or months depending upon position of tape and type of surface to which it is applied.
  3. To remove, simply peel off by hand, or gently apply a damp cloth or steam. Replace as needed. Sticky Paws is non-toxic, odorless, and won't leave a sticky residue.

    Awesome Product

    By on

I bought Sticky Paws to help me stop my cat from scratching the corner of my new sofa. I placed the sticky paw in the area I needed it. I showed my cat where I placed the sticky paw. Made her touch it with her paws. Oh she didnt like it at all. She will sit next to the area but hasn't done her nails. Its almost imposible to see so she doesnt know if its there or not with out touching the area. I took the Sticky Paw off the sofa about a week later. So far so good. My cat hasn't touched the spot since. I would definatly give it a try if yor cat is destroying your furniture. Just what I needed. Thanks Sticky Paw !

    Very pleasantly surprised

It’s worked better than I’d have thought. We got new furniture and my kitties went straight for them. I had strips of duct tape sticky side out all over them with very limited results. Plus my new furniture now was not so pretty. I put a strip of Sticky Paws in several strategic places (10 strips in all) and now magically no more claw sharpening. I am very happy.

    Sticky Paws Does the Trick

    By on

My 2 cats go straight for one particular chair and sharpen their claws. The first day I put the strips on the chair they put their paws up a few times and then walked away. Three days later they don't even walk over to that chair. Yeh!

Strips are clear and the cats seem to leave my couch corner alone

    By on

The furniture strips aren’t what I expected, it almost looks like tape and is very sticky. However the cats don’t scratch that corner anymore so it does it’s job!

    i wont waste my money

this is not chewys fault as I love this site, but was truly disappointed I bought for my kitty to stay away from my mattress....it was awful it was like what happens to plastic wrap, it would go on and then just fall off and get all tangled, your better off just spraying your animal to teach them no

I wasn't sure if these would work but my cat doesn't touch the furniture any more where these are.

    Good idea in theory...

    By on

I'm willing to accept that my furniture type was possibly to blame (tweed-like computer chair), but this stuff came off in a couple of hours. It peeled easily, and my cat tore it off with her teeth with no effort. Additionally, the tape was hard to put on. It was so clingy and thin that while securing one side, the other would come off (think like trying to work with sticky cling wrap). It was a great idea with poor execution. I'm adding a star because I understand it would probably work better on a non-textured chair (still shouldn't be that difficult, the chair is not THAT textured).

Sticky Paws - no bueno :(

    By on

I ordered this product thinking it would be perfect for the corners of my couch - it wasn't . It is paper thin and I thought it would be "sticky" on one side the side that adhered to the couch but it is sticky on both. Disappointed and one package sits unopened in my closet.

    my dog loved these!

    By on

The tape was on the furniture only a few minutes before our dog attacked it! She has never bothered our furniture before but she really liked the tape. We are not able to use it so I don't know if it works with cats.
