    Poor Product

    By on

Purchased 2 rolls of this item. Glad I did because I have wasted almost a whole roll. The backing is difficult to remove, and then when you do, it pops up and sticks together. It is much too thin and flimsy. I have purchased a different brand in the past, and it worked perfectly. Do not purchase this.

    Sticky Paws Tape for cats

    By on

Trying to keep a kitten off the countertops with this tape didn't work. He just stepped between the strips of tape. I bought 4 rolls. Was a waste of money. Plus we couldn't use our countertops for the week we left it there. If he did step on the tape it didn't bother him much. He just kept on walking. Not very sticky. Took it off and threw it in the trash after a week. Its not sticky enough to really bother a cat. Mine walked on it easily and it was annoying to have it on the countertops.

    Worked instantly

    By on

My cat would scratch the leather part of my furniture until I i bought this tape . I put it over the leather part and picked him up and stuck his hand to show him what would happen if he came next to it (wasn’t painful ) he never scratched the couch again . A couple months later I took the tape off finally . He doesn’t even bother walking on the leather part or going near it lol #MissionComplete and it didn’t mess up my leather . Not too sure how it would work on clothe furniture tho

    This product is... okay

    By on

Very much pay for what you get with this. It definitely deterred my cat from scratching but it does begin to fall off after a short time especially if it's on a spot of the couch that gets brushed against a lot. I would recommend for people whose cats are only scratching corners. Since mine was scratching other areas I tried putting it all over and it started to come off and looked messy.

    Does The Trick

    By on

It's basically double-sided tape: simple, but effective. I like that it comes with a protective top layer so that I can tear it off and stick it to my furniture like a big sticker, and then peel off the top part so that the other sticky side is only exposed when I'm done touching it.

    Love that it's super sticky!

    By on

Does the job! I bought the ones with the roll to make applying it easier. Definitely apply slowly and press against the material first before taking off the backing. My cat looks at the tape and doesn't bother to scratch in the spots its placed in. Works for us!

Not as good as I expected

    By on

I gave this a go for over a month and it still doesn't do anything for my cat. I put it on a window ledge because he would tear through the blinds in the middle of the night as I slept. At first it worked, but eventually he just didn't become phased by it. He will gladly sit on the tape and mess up my blinds. I live in an apartment, so damage cannot happen. I am at a lost with over the counter things to help his bad behaviors.

Needs to have disclosure about type of furniture fabric this will work on :-(

    By on

We had used this MANY years ago but have different furniture now. Wish there would be something on the info warning that this won't work on fabric that is textured, only smooth flat fabric. I'll save it until we buy new furniture I guess...boo hoo.

    Stops scratching!

    By on

My cats were constantly climbing my fabric headboard, clawing it up in the process. I put this on the top and sides of the headboard and they have totally stopped. They hate the way the tape feels and they don't even try to climb it anymore.

    Did not work

    By on

I tried putting this tape on furniture where my cat was clawing and she ended up rolling it into a ball and playing with it. I am glad I didn't spend a whole lot on it.
