I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. We tried the strellalab glucosamine chews for older dogs for 1 week before this review. My 10 year old shih tzu and a 10 terrier mix we rescued years ago both were given 1 a day. The shih tzu did not like them at first but he is like a grumpy old man lol. He still won't take them from me but if I lay it down he will eat it up and come wagging his tail for more. He's less than 10 pounds so he only gets the one. He does like them and I like that they are made in the USA. He has been moving around a little more and I think it is from these chews. The terrier mix hasn't slowed down much, if at all, due to age so she probably doesn't need them but I'm sure that they don't hurt her either. I think these work well and will continue to give them to the shih tzu as long as I can afford them.
Great Supplements
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I bought these for my 8 year old dachshund who sometimes yelps when we pick her up as if we're hurting her. I assume it has something to do with her joints the older she's gotten. These supplements have great ingredients and they are so cute; they're heart shaped. My dog is a picky eater and she eats them up as if they're treats. I've noticed that she has more energy throughout the day as she is a very lazy dog. I'm excited to see how they'll help in the long term with her joints and mobility.
Slow and Steady

We purchased this product for our dog Slate who is 13 years old and has been struggling with moving around and getting up from a laying position. At first I wasn't sure if he was going to refuse it since we struggled to get allergy medicine in him but he had no issues with the taste or smell. Our vet recommended a product similar to this with glucosamine. We give him 3 chews a day. It's only been a week so we will see how he responds at the end of the month.

Now that our boy is getting older I take time to research what vitamins or supplements will help him to stay as youthful & healthy as possible. Max. Strength glucosamine chews help to keep his hips & joints healthier. They are very appreciated by our dog & easy to dispense to him. I like the little heart shaped chews while he likes the bacon taste. We walk our dog more than 3 miles each morning, then even further in the evening . Dobermans are high energy dogs that need lots of daily exercise in order to stay mentally & physically healthy. One of the health issues that surface in the Doberman breed is Hip dysplasia. We have had 8 Dobermans over the years and due to feeding high quality food & high quality supplements we have not yet had a Doberman suffer from hip issues. I have trust in this glucosamine supplement to help our current dobie enjoy his long walks even into his golden years
Effective
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I got these StrellaLab Glucosamine Chews for a relatives aging dog. These are small, soft, and heart-shaped chews. The dosage is dispensed according to dog weight. Our dog gets 3 chews as he is 52#. He ingests them without issue. We have been administering glucosamine supplements for some time now as the dog has some hip issues. This brand is comparable and works as well, if not better than other brands we have used. These do have a rather unpleasant smell to them, but the dog doesn't seem to mind.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. It is well packaged. The smell is not unpleasant, smells like dog food. It is heart shaped, which I don't think the dogs cared about, but it made me smile! It is a nice treat for dogs and has glucosamine which is a great supplement for joint and mobility issues in older dogs. As with all things, the ingredients may or may not upset your dogs stomach, but is is worth a try to see if it is helpful
Great supplements
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This product has a photo on the front for dogs but says it's great for cats too. I bought this for my cats. I want to provide them with a healthy supplement--this one has very limited additive ingredients. Most are active. It has high amounts of omegas, calcium and chondroitin. They're semi soft chews so you can break them up if needed. My cats gobbled them right up! Will buy again.
Help needed
Bought this stuff to help my dog with her hip dysplasia. She hasn't been in any pain but I have not noticed any difference in her issues. I don't believe the medication is helping but she's only been on it about 3 weeks. So I'm going to order it again and try it for another month. I may not have caught her issues soon enough for the medication to do any good.
Good product

Within a day she seemed to have more energy and did appear to feel a bit better than typically. I am excited to continue to use these long term and see how she feels they appear to perform as advertised.
