Strongpoint Performance Plus Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food

I switched to Strongpoint to replace SportMix with the recent recall. My 2 Vizsla kids love it and our gassy one is much better. I highly recommend this food for your high energy dogs.

This food fills a niche in the performance dog food market. It’s number one ingredient is chicken meal and the number three ingredient is fish meal. I know there’s a big push for grain free food products, but I have always liked to feed my dogs a premium food that is balanced in its contents. Over the last thirty years, I have always seen better performance from my dogs that have small amounts of the right type of grain in their diet. I hunt my pointers hard and long throughout the bird season and need a food that will drive their performance, up to ten hours a day if needed. The kibble has quite a fishy odor with a slightly oily feel in the hand, again good qualities in my opinion. My dogs prefer the taste more than the last premium brand they were being given. If you have a true working or hunting dog that puts in long hours in adverse conditions, you owe it to your companion to consider this food. Dog seems to enjoy and will choose this food over others dogs food.

I have been feeding Strongpoint for over 2 years, this is high quality food. During active hunting season, performance fuels my dog. It is always interesting to watch how much more other working dogs poop compared to my dog, which is caused by their inferior food. Strongpoint performance will lead a dog to perform better, will maintain their muscle mass better, and will provide better nutrients with less filler than many other "pro" foods. While not in active season my dog eats a different Strongpoint food called "Naturally Premium". This is high quality food, for real working dogs, you will not be disappointed.

We have a high energy border collie who is 8 years old and still working cattle! She loves this food and has not had any digestive problems with it.

My dogs are loving this food! Perfect level of protein/fat with all critical vitamins and nutrients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
