Maybe they'll work better for you

    By on

I've bought cholla before from other retailers and had no problems, but these from Chewy never sank. I had them in my tank for a week and they just kept floating. Even when weighted down they would pop up, so if you don't mind that they're good.

    Must haves!!

Now my baby fish have some place to hide that bigger fish cannot get at them. And, the release of tannins from this wood is a plus as a water conditioner.

    Pretty much as expected

Received one piece that looks like the main image and one piece with a larger diameter. Took a couple of days of soaking before the pieces sunk.

My shrimp and snails love these

    By on

These are perfect for my ghost shrimp. Big enough for them to hide and explore. Plus my snails think they are fun.

    Great Driftwood

    By on

These are on the small side, however, they are great for putting live plants in! Both of mine sunk easily after soaking for a couple of days, and my fish fry love them.

    My otos love them!

    By on

Mine were sinkable after soaking for two nights. They are narrower than I expected, but this wasn't problematic for me. My little oto cats love them, and they are smooth enough to be safe for the lady betta who lives with my otos. Would buy again.

    Looks good in the tank

The items were clean and in one piece, undamaged. The plecos were attracted to the driftwood dispit the small size. My plecos are 17” long.

    Extremely small

    By on

Originally bought them for my snakes, they are really small though, smaller than I thought. Was expecting them to be thicker.

    They are so small!

    By on

They are so small, much smaller than I could imagine. My little 1"-long cory catfish won't be able to take refuge in the hollow core of any of them. One as a diameter of about 1", and the other about 1 1/4". Nothing's wrong with the length. I wished Chewy had the larger size for sale. These will look tiny in my 70gal tank.
