Green Tea is Caffeinated, Caffeine Not Safe
My first bottle leaked during delivery so I received a replacement. I bought this to replace the Pawitas Dental Water Mint Additive since I keep getting some bottles without expiration dates with brown liquid. This I thought might be a good alternative because I prefer the dental water having mint. Received the replacement and it doesn't have a peppermint smell, or any smell. But when I looked at the ingredients on the bottle again to make sure it did have mint, I noticed it had green tea. I drink green tea when I want a break from coffee because both have caffeine. Poisonous foods for dogs are Caffeine (Coffee & other caffeinated foods), Cocoa Beans (Chocolate & chocolate items made from cocoa beans), and Reservatol (Wine & Grapes). Green Tea is a caffeinated beverage, therefore poisonous to dogs, and having green tea in a dental water additive like this product is not safe. To make sure I called our vet and emailed the listing & product information to her. She told me the same thing and to throw it out as it is unsafe. Good thing I noticed before using, and we threw it out. Both us and our Vet were shocked to find such an unsafe product on chewy. This product is definitely not Vet recommended and harmful for dog consumption.
