Allow your cat to heal in comfort and dignity with the Suitical Recovery Suit for Cats. A cat-preferred alternative to the dreaded cone of shame, this new approach comes with a host of perks. While traditional cones restrict normal movement and distract their sense of direction, the recovery suit solves all these problems and then some. Acting as a second skin, it allows your cat to go about his normal routine—all the while keeping the wound clean, dry and protected. All this equals less stress, a faster recovery and a happier pet. Just ask yourself, would you want to wear a cone?
Comfortable, stress-reducing alternative to the traditional cone is recommended by vets.
Snug fit with rear fastening prevents the pet from wiggling out, and allows for normal litter box use.
Covered areas are kept clean and dry, which prevents bacteria and dirt from causing an infection.
Made from a non-toxic, breathable, 4-way stretch fabric that is machine washable for reuse.
Allows air to circulate around the wound for healing, with built-in pockets for gauze pads.
With cats, the head must be inserted first into the shirt followed by each front leg (separately) into the openings provided. The Suit should then be pulled back as far as possible over your pet’s body. The two straps on the belly side are secured by threading them between the rear legs and then connecting the snaps to the upper section near the base of the tail. Make sure that there is enough room for tail movement.
It is comfortable, hygienic and can be washed at 30º Celsius. Do not place items in the dryer, must be air dryed.
I love, love, LOVE these suits. I ordered down a size based on reviews I read for my 10 month old kittens. XXXS for both. These suits allow for full mobility and litter box use. Funny thing is they do take some time to get used to for the cat. My two literally acted like they were paralyzed in straight jackets. I made them wear them a few days at a time before surgery. I had the vet put them on them while still there. Now, after being in them for two weeks while they heal from their spay’s, they’ve gotten the hang of them. —though Chloe still like to army crawl in hers. It’s pretty hilarious.

This is a very nice item however my 6 mo kitten disagreed. I purchased it in preparation for her surgery hoping to keep her from licking her incision. Once I put it on her it was obviously a bit small but the worse part was her behavior. She scowled and cried until I took it off. As it turned out my kitty hasn’t fussed over the incision & in retrospect purchasing this item was over kill.
Now the best part was. Chewy.com return policy, it was super easy, the customer service rep was professional & friendly & no I didn’t have to actually return the item but I was asked to donate to a local shelter. Now that’s awesome!
Not for Prince
on Feb 7, 2019
I had high hopes for this suit after trying two other onesies and resorting to the cone. This is probably the best option for a onesie to keep a cat away from their wound, however, my Prince somehow wiggled out of it overnight. He is truly uncomfortable in a onesie and I need to give up on it. He hates the cone, but its the only thing he can't take off. I'm sure this might work for other cats. Also, he couldn't use his litter box in this and ended up peeing all over himself, the onesie, and my carpet. The return process was simple ! Just a two minute call to customer service and I got a complete refund.
Not for my kittens.

I ordered two of these suits a few days after my two kittens were spayed because I found the cones of shame to be so restrictive. I had high hopes for the suits, but the kittens did not care for them. I have a feeling had I bought the suits ahead of time and put them on directly after surgery they would have adjusted to the suits, just like they adjusted to the cones after a few days. I contacted Chewy for a refund and customer service went beyond my expectations--what an amazing company!
Stops her from licking...and walking

Not only is this onesie the cutest thing ever, but it’s so practical! I put this on my 6 month old kitty after getting spayed and she froze, which was good because she wasn’t supposed to jump around after surgery. She only wanted to be carried, or she would gallop to areas when food was involved. She was able to escape from the shirt on the first night, but then she didn’t mess with it and it stayed on for 5 days. Had to clean a little poop off the back, but it was better than her having to wear the aweful cone. I highly recommend!!

I bought two of these suits to assist in the recovery time after a spay in two kittens. I purchased them both in a XS size and they fit perfectly! It took my kittens awhile to adjust to wearing something so close to their fur all the time, even going so far as to be a couple of drama queens refusing to get up and move, but they eventually got used to it and before long they were walking, using the litter box, and eating/drinking without issue. I am not a fan of putting an animal in a cone because it is so limiting in their daily activities. These suits were a tremendous help and let my kitties enjoy themselves while recovering from their spay.
My kitten is so happy!

I ordered this product for my 6 month old kitten. I knew that she would not tolerate an e-collar, so I got this in hopes that it would keep her safe and calm while she healed after her spay. She is about 5.5 pounds, and the XX-Small fits perfectly. It's fitted enough that she can't get through the arm/leg spaces to lick her incision but loose enough that she can walk, get comfortable, and potty without any issues.
I wish I had this when our other cats were spayed!!

When our three other girls were spayed they all wore the cone of shame and hated them! They were miserable,we were miserable and lets be honest things got messy when it came to both eating and potty time which is why when it came time for our youngest to get spayed we were searching for alternatives to the dreaded cone. We found this. We bought it a couple of weeks prior to surgery . We decided to let her get use to the suit before her surgery so it wasn't a big deal come surgery time. She was spayed yesterday and has had this on since she came home. She can use the litter box just fine,it doesn't get in the way of her food dishes and it prevents her from licking her surgical site.
Freddie’s New Suit

Our cat has an unexplained neuropathy that causes him to walk low on his back legs and his hair has never grown back from his diagnostic ultrasounds and other procedures. He has still not been definitively diagnosed. While he has also lost a LOT of weight, he is actually walking up higher on his legs again. We credit acupuncture. We worry about him getting chilly even though he is a cat and so we ordered this as a warming and therapeutic, calming sleeve type device. He seems to really like it. Purr, purr, purr... And we feel better too. Fits perfectly. We got fleece pjs for him too but this is an overall better suit for coverage, comfort and litter box freedom.
Just what we needed

We needed to find something to keep our kitten, Luna, from licking herself after getting fixed. She's a little Houdini! She got out of the cone of shame the vet put on her. We tried a newborn onesie, socks, etc. Nothing worked until we found this. She didn't like it, but it kept her from licking and she couldn't get herself out of it. When she was wearing it, she slept more and was a lot calmer. That was a great side effect that kept her from jumping around too much and hurting herself.
