Allow your cat to heal in comfort and dignity with the Suitical Recovery Suit for Cats. A cat-preferred alternative to the dreaded cone of shame, this new approach comes with a host of perks. While traditional cones restrict normal movement and distract their sense of direction, the recovery suit solves all these problems and then some. Acting as a second skin, it allows your cat to go about his normal routine—all the while keeping the wound clean, dry and protected. All this equals less stress, a faster recovery and a happier pet. Just ask yourself, would you want to wear a cone?
Comfortable, stress-reducing alternative to the traditional cone is recommended by vets.
Snug fit with rear fastening prevents the pet from wiggling out, and allows for normal litter box use.
Covered areas are kept clean and dry, which prevents bacteria and dirt from causing an infection.
Made from a non-toxic, breathable, 4-way stretch fabric that is machine washable for reuse.
Allows air to circulate around the wound for healing, with built-in pockets for gauze pads.
With cats, the head must be inserted first into the shirt followed by each front leg (separately) into the openings provided. The Suit should then be pulled back as far as possible over your pet’s body. The two straps on the belly side are secured by threading them between the rear legs and then connecting the snaps to the upper section near the base of the tail. Make sure that there is enough room for tail movement.
It is comfortable, hygienic and can be washed at 30º Celsius. Do not place items in the dryer, must be air dryed.
I wish I had this when our other cats were spayed!!
on Jan 16, 2019
When our three other girls were spayed they all wore the cone of shame and hated them! They were miserable,we were miserable and lets be honest things got messy when it came to both eating and potty time which is why when it came time for our youngest to get spayed we were searching for alternatives to the dreaded cone. We found this. We bought it a couple of weeks prior to surgery . We decided to let her get use to the suit before her surgery so it wasn't a big deal come surgery time. She was spayed yesterday and has had this on since she came home. She can use the litter box just fine,it doesn't get in the way of her food dishes and it prevents her from licking her surgical site.
Freddie’s New Suit
on Jan 1, 2019
Our cat has an unexplained neuropathy that causes him to walk low on his back legs and his hair has never grown back from his diagnostic ultrasounds and other procedures. He has still not been definitively diagnosed. While he has also lost a LOT of weight, he is actually walking up higher on his legs again. We credit acupuncture. We worry about him getting chilly even though he is a cat and so we ordered this as a warming and therapeutic, calming sleeve type device. He seems to really like it. Purr, purr, purr... And we feel better too. Fits perfectly. We got fleece pjs for him too but this is an overall better suit for coverage, comfort and litter box freedom.
Just what we needed
on Jan 18, 2019
We needed to find something to keep our kitten, Luna, from licking herself after getting fixed. She's a little Houdini! She got out of the cone of shame the vet put on her. We tried a newborn onesie, socks, etc. Nothing worked until we found this. She didn't like it, but it kept her from licking and she couldn't get herself out of it. When she was wearing it, she slept more and was a lot calmer. That was a great side effect that kept her from jumping around too much and hurting herself.
Waste of money

Not sure how everyone else in the reviews was able to use this. I just got my baby boy neutered and although it fit him perfectly it did not cover his balls or prevent him for licking himself. We had to resort to the cone unfortunately. The vet said it might work for a female but even then it would barely be covering anything. Don’t waste your money on this. It was a great idea that was executed horribly.
Great for nervous older cat
on Jan 13, 2019
I have a female calico that licks her belly until she breaks the skin. I had used a neck ring on her and that helped but also restricted her desire to eat, drink or move. This suit works wonders for her. She is kept warm, she can't reach the area that she usually licks. It is expensive but worth it. The cost of the antibiotics to treat her belly was twice this not including the vet visit. It would be fun to have more colors in her xsmall size.
Great For spay recovery
on Jan 13, 2019
I have a 6 pound female cat about 12 inches from neck to beginning of tail. XXX Small fits perfect. Fantastic option for recovering from abdominal surgery. Opened up front leg hole seam so cat didn’t feel too restricted. Put it on her a couple times to get used to pre surgery. Fantastic option vs head cone. She is totally used to it and recovering well. Nice that it has internal pocket to place surgical gauze.
Better than Elizabethan collar
on Dec 10, 2018
Used this suit for my male Maine Coon after having urinary stone surgery. Ordered it 2 days before his surgery, it got here the day before surgery. I knew he wouldn't keep the Elizabethan collar on and sure enough he had it off within 2 minutes of getting in the car. The Suitical fit nicely, plenty of room for him to use the litter box, and kept the surgical area from being disturbed. The only thing I found was, it got somewhat warm underneath, which is why only 4 stars. He was good about putting it on and taking it off to "air out"

After our female kitten was spayed they sent her home with the cone-of-shame. She was sad, clumsy and had a hard time eating or drinking without spilling everything. It freaked out our other cat so much he wouldn't even go near her. She was confined to the upstairs bedrooms as we were afraid she would tumble down the stairs. We had seen the suitical suit here online while browsing around for alternatives. We ordered it and it arrived in 2 days. When we first put it on her she would shake her back legs and walk taking baby steps. But she quickly got used to it......it was wonderful. She was happy again, able to roam the house and even go downstairs. Our other cat was happy as well and acceptedAfter our female kitten was spayed they sent her home with the cone-of-shame. He said his patients are always looking for an alternative to the cone and he hadn't know of any until now. Thought it was a genius idea and said he will now recommend this to everyone. Love it!… more
Much better than an e-collar
on Jan 17, 2019
Our kitten came home with an e-collar after being spayed. It was misery for us all. A friend suggested this item, and it was so much better than the e-collar. She wasn't terribly fond of it, but she could move freely, eat freely, and still could not lick her incision. I left it on for 7 days.
