Can't See Me
First, never name a black cat John Cena, you will never be able to find her. Second, don't get anything camouflage for said cat or you'll never see her again. All that being said, this would have been a fantastic product but I ordered the wrong size (ordered xxsmall, should have ordered xxxsmall). To my credit, it's difficult to accurately measure a squirming 6 month old kitten. All she wanted to do is play with the measuring tape. It took at least 5 attempts and half my sanity. I'm glad I sized down, but wish I'd gotten the smallest size. I'll be returning it and possibly exchanging it but she didn't like those leg straps so I'm not sure. Perhaps if they fit better, they'd be more comfortable. We'll see. Also, that diagram for putting it on your cat is really inaccurate. They make it look way too easy. You need about 5 more steps showing how you have to catch the cat several times after it wriggles away, not to mention any bodily harm you sustain. Being named after a wrestler was a mistake. She lives up to her name. Anywho, all those issues are pretty minor. It seems like a really well made suit, the sizing is just hard to figure out without seeing the suit in person first.
Minor adjustment needed
The size was good for my 4.8 lb kitten. We tried it on her several different days before spay surgery to get her used to it. She would act like she was paralyzed when first putting it on, but quickly adjusted to it. The minor adjustment was made to the neck area. It was a little bit too tight so a small snip with scissors remedied that. She wore it as needed until she was healed.
These suiticals are great for post surgical
My kitty had to have surgery and my vet recommended these for post surgical care. I ordered based on measurements, however, my cat is a little bulkier so they were a little small. I contacted Chewy and they were wonderful, They exchanged for a larger size which fit great. My other cat was not too sure who this new guy was when he saw him afterward, but finally adjusted. I was worried about using the cone of shame, but these little suiticals were so much better. He is all recovered now and never tried to remove the suit or bother his suture site. Awesome product, awesome customer service.

This is the best thing ever! My kitten was spayed and they sent me home with a cone and even though it was the soft kind, it was still unwieldy and she actually ended up getting it off multiple times. I ordered this suit and Chewy had it to me the very next day, which was lovely. The kitten didn't mind the suit and it helped her to heal without needing that nasty cone. Totally recommend!
much better then a cone
I got this for my cat to wear after her spay surgery. It is a terrific idea and much better then the cone. But - she acts like her legs are broken and has no idea how to walk! Lol. She takes a step and flops over. Which I guess her not roaming the house is good for recovery but she really doesn’t like it. She did get it off twice the first day but we put it on again and so far so good. I went by the size chart and it fits perfect. This is much better and more comfortable then a cone. Even if she doesn’t realize it!!
great service
The suit was easier than I expected to put on. I have a very large (long and heavy) cat and I really expected the Extra Small to be too small so I also ordered a Small. I was wrong, and they were VERY nice about letting me return the Small w/no questions asked. Even the Extra Small was probably a bit too big (that was my fault too). He wore it, but I will say that he didn't seem able to jump in it and since his food is up high that was a problem, so we eventually gave up on it. That was ok since he wasn't licking his wounds. We have kept it for future incidents, but it is worth keeping in mind. I recommend it but with some reservations.
Cat disliked
Tried getting this for my cat who had to have emergency surgery so he did not have to wear a cone. Not a fan. Walked around in a drunkenly manner which was pretty comical. The suit itself is adorable but the cats have to be used to wearing them.
Size DOWN Runs BIG
Love the idea for this but my cat is 3 years old and only weights 8.4 pounds, and I ordered an XSmall . . . WAY too big! Should have ordered an XXSmall. I would recommend this product vs. the cone after being spayed, but order a size down possibly 2 if you want it really snug
Awesome product!
So glad I ordered this! My 6 month old kitten had to have abdominal surgery and he wasn't doing well with cone at all. He would run into things and couldn't eat very well. Ordered this and it was in the next day. Don't get me wrong he hated wearing this too but he could move around so much better. It covered his belly so he couldn't get to his incision and washed up fabulously. Great buy if you don't want the cone!
doesn't get better
Our kitten was neutered and sent home in a contraption of ties and holes for legs and arms. I checked on her at 2 am only to find she was out of this PLUS has pulled out 2 stitched. I called Chewy with an SOS order for this onesie. Bless Chewy, I had it the next day. Baby was very happy in this. Almost acted like a thunder shirt. Her remaining stitches remained intact and she healed Well. This is a MUST for all little ladies getting neutered.
