Does anyone here remember the Sulfodene that was a yellow liquid? It came in a small bottle and could stop a Labrador from chewing? Well, this isn’t it. This didn’t stop a senior Yorkie girl with allergies from chewing and I am so disappointed! Sulfodene doesn’t seem to sell that yellow liquid anymore, which is a terrible shame. I would have gladly paid three times as much for some that worked. If you’re reading this, keep shopping This is not the Sulfodene you’re looking for.
Works great just what I was hoping for
Spray pump doesn’t lift up to spay out of bottle. Have to try to pull up nozzle after first pump. End up just pouring in hand and rubbing on dog.
Good thing they wrap it tightly in plastic for shipping. Even after washed off and dried, the bottle leaks every time I spray it.
Bought this because my dog was always scratching her at groin. She was always hot to the touch too, especially in that area. I sprayed this on her and it helped a lot. It is a bit messy because she had chewed all the hair off that area, would help more if it came in a foam maybe but it did help and it quieted that itch down, she wasn't "hot" to the touch anymore. I sprayed her two or three times a day and rubbed it in a bit, then I cut down to once a day and now I don't use it much anymore but will definitely use it again if she starts scratching bad again.
We have a pittie mix who has the most sensitive itchy skin and this is the only stuff that gives him so relief!
Katie has always had skin troubles, allergic dermatitis I believe. This Sulfodene is very soothing to her red, itchy inflamed skin.
This itch spray really does work, my lab has been getting dry skin and this spray has been a huge relief for her.
If your pup licks and chews on self. I would use spray on area(s). Rub in. Then cover or wrap with something so that pup won't remove.
My American Bully has skin allergies and this stuff works wonders to calm her skin for at least a couple of hours. The only drawback is that it wears off pretty quickly. However, it smells GOOD and does its job short-term.
