Cuttlebone has been a lifesaver for my parrot, and I can't help but share the remarkable difference it's made. My little amigo, Pedro, was having a tough time with his beak, which was overgrown and causing him discomfort. I was worried until a fellow parrot enthusiast recommended cuttlebone. Since introducing it into his cage, Pedro's beak has improved tremendously. He not only enjoys munching on it but also sharpens his beak, keeping it in top-notch condition. It's become a daily ritual, and I can tell he finds it incredibly satisfying. I've also noticed that Pedro's overall health has improved. The minerals in the cuttlebone have contributed to stronger feathers, and he seems more vibrant and active. Plus, it's a great source of calcium, which is essential for his bone health. I appreciate how cost-effective and long-lasting cuttlebone is. It's a natural and practical way to ensure my parrot's well-being. As a proud parrot parent, I highly recommend cuttlebone to anyone looking to enhance their feathered friend's quality of life. Pedro and I can't thank this little marvel enough for the joy and health it's brought into our lives
These six-inch, unbleached cuttlebones have been a game-changer for my parrots. It's often a challenge to find cuttlebones that are truly large, but these ones fit the bill perfectly. My parrots absolutely love them, and the fact that they're unbleached and retain their natural color gives me peace of mind. I've also swapped out the aluminum band holders for a safer plastic pinch-style holder. These cuttlebones are now a staple in my parrots' diet, ensuring they stay happy and their beaks stay in top shape
We use these cuttlebones for our beloved red-eared slider turtles, and it's a hit with them. They eagerly nibble on them, and it's become an essential part of their diet and enrichment, tthese cuttlebones provide them with valuable calcium and keep their beaks healthy. It's a simple yet effective addition to their habitat, and our turtles couldn't be happier with it
These cuttlebones are notably larger and more substantial than what I used to find at pet stores. My three parakeets absolutely love them!
I'm loving the size, and our two cockatiels dig it too. These things go on and on! But, my only gripe is that some of 'em are just too darn big for the holder.
I gave this to my aquarium bottom feeders, the calcium will help them with molting. Snails, shrimps & crabs love them.
I was taken back by the instructions to boil the cuttle bones first ...I looked up online about that process and what I found seems to be talking about use in a fish tank and boiling it to get it to saturate with water so it sinks instead of floating.. I can't find anything about boiling for avian use
Great quality & good size. the cocktails just love ‘em.
These cuttlebone are much larger than I thought I ordered and since when do we have to boil to sterilize? I will never use these and I am upset!
As always, things came in good shape and were of good quality. Everything was well packed so there was no damage. Birds love them..
