Give your birds an island-inspired abode with the SunGrow Coconut Shell Ladder Hut Bird House. Made of nature’s most durable material—100% natural, weather-proof, eco-friendly coconut husk—it’s the perfect private hideaway and treat holder, all in one. Hang it outside and fill it with bird seed to watch wild birds flock to it, or use it indoors for some added enrichment for your pet birds. It’s great for small birds like finches, sparrows, robins and parakeets, for climbing, snacking and hiding fun. Plus, the naturally rugged textures and climbing ladder help encourage foot and beak exercise to keep your feathered pal fit and healthy.
Tropical island-inspired birdhouse includes coconut husk hideout, climbing ladder and coconut fiber rope.
Made of 100% natural, non-toxic and ultra-safe coconut husk that’s weatherproof, mold and rust-resistant, and perfect for outdoor use.
Wild birds will be drawn to the natural hideaway, and indoor pet birds will love climbing and playing on it.
Works as a treat dispenser by hiding bird snacks inside, and encourages foraging and healthy exercise by climbing and chewing.
Easy to set up with included hanging loop, and is great for all birds like finches, sparrows, robins, and parakeets.
On an average, the bird house has an opening diameter of 2.4 inches, the coconut shell diameter is about 5.1 inches, and the rope ladder will be between 10 and 12 inches long. As these are natural products, the measurement can vary a bit though.
I have my caged aviary placed outdoors where I keep a couple of parakeets. I purchased this coco hut with a ladder because I thought it would be a beautiful addition and complement my garden. I didn’t expect that it can give my pets so much enjoyment as I am being entertained visually. They like going inside it to rest, and I would sometimes hide treats to provide more fun. The natural texture doesn’t hurt their feet, and they would sometimes peck on them, allowing them to have some beak exercise. They also love to climb up and down the ladder. This hut provides them with something to do, and I don’t need to worry about dealing with bored birds anymore.

Great Bird House
on Jan 2, 2021
This bird house is so cute and made of 100% natural coconut so it's safe for the birds and planet. The ladder is so cute and offers another perching spot for your feathery friends. I put mine outside bit this would also be cute in a bird cage! Hangs easily via the loop not string!
Parakeet hatched babies in this!

Our female parakeet laid eggs the day we put it in. 2 babies hatched out a couple weeks ago and she and her "husband" both tend the babies in this house. I'm really happy with this product.
My daughter is Highly Upset
on Oct 15, 2020
Since giving my 12 year old daughter's 4 lovebirds 2 of these houses on October 1st all 4 of her lovebirds have died due to impact from fibrous material outside of the coconut houses. This toy should not be sold with fibrous material. If your birds chew this should not be given to birds. The maker of this toy does not seem to respond and chewy will not cover the cost of my daughters birds. My daughter is highly upset.
Parakeets love this

My two parakeets love this. It took them several days to get comfortable around it, but now one of them loves singing into it. I don't know if he likes the way he sounds, but I do.

Hamster loves it!
on Aug 24, 2020
Got this for my Syrian hamster and she loves it! Ended up taking the ladder off to attach to a different part of her enclosure. The coconut part works great as a hide (with or without ladder!). Picture makes it looks a bit small but she can comfortably sit and eat in it

I got these for my parakeets one female one male in hopes that they will maybe breed who knows but they haven't even been curious about going in the Coconut at all....
Actually what they have been doing it was nipping and tearing away at the fibers on the outside of the coconut I tried to buy some bedding for the inside of the coconut but apparently chewies always out of stock of some of these products so I can't find any fillings to put inside for the coconut nests hopefully they'll take to it and start sitting inside and nesting inside
