Adult: Every dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed, and environment. For Adult dogs, feed once or twice daily. Use diagram above and adjust to maintain body weight. Hard working dogs, dogs in winter and pregnant or nursing mothers may require up to 3 times the daily ration. Consider free feeding during these times. Always provide fresh drinking water for your dog. Consult your veterinarian regularly to maintain your dog's optimal health.
-
Puppy: For puppies from weaning to 3 months, feed 4 times a day. From 3 - 6 months, feed 3 times a day. From 6 months to a year, feed 2 times a day. It is best to mix Supreme Source with warm water, milk, or broth. Be sure to keep this mixture fresh. A serving that the puppy will consume in 10 minutes is adequate. Slowly dry out the mixture from weaning to 6 month, then the puppy can be fed a dry Adult serving.
In order to avoid digestion issues while changing your dog's diet, it is important to allow 7-10 days to transition Supreme Source. Each day during transition, simply reduce the percentage of the current food and increase the percentage of Supreme Source in your dog's diet until you are feeding 100% Supreme Source.

Helped with Sensitive Skin
By DoggyMomma on Jan 20, 2019
We have had a terrible time with the condition of our pug's skin. In the summers she gets terrible hot spots. We don't know if it is a grass, flea, or food allergy. She would constantly rub and scratch her back on the bottoms of the cars, benches, whatever she could get to. Our dogs spend much of their time outside and we just couldn't stop her. Her back would be raw and bleeding. As soon as it healed she'd be back at it again. We tried many types of food and nothing worked. When we got to this brand her skin finally cleared up. We've never changed foods again.

Dogs absolutely LOVE IT !!!
By PetMom on Jan 17, 2019
I have three dogs ; and feed Supreme Source exclusively. It is a grain-free food made by Merrick, and it is a great value that my dogs all thrive on. Typically I purchase the salmon, but thought I would branch out a bit and ordered this flavor, and all 3 absolutely LOVE IT . My year old Havapoo has a tendency to take a bite of food and go on to something else- then come back to his bowl for another bite etc but he gobbles this one right up.

Awesome food, awesome customer service
By tnmulegal on Dec 5, 2018
My dogs love this food, and it's a great value and quality food. I ordered two bags of dog food and some chew bones for my dogs.....when the box arrived, one of the bags of food was torn open and dog food spilled out all over the kitchen floor and inside the box when I lifted it out of the shipping box. I snapped a few pics and sent to them, so they would know there is a problem, and they are sending me another bag of dog food free of charge! Not only are their prices unbeatable, but it's free delivery right to your front door and AWESOME customer service as well. I highly recommend Chewy.com to everyone who has pets!

Not Tasty, according to my 2 dogs
By BlueAZ on Feb 4, 2019
Supreme Source is very good quality dogfood, and I've fed other flavors of it to my dogs. They liked it. I ordered this Pork flavor to change things up, but they will barely eat it. I'll go back to other flavors!

one of my GSDs favorite rotations
By 2GSDmom on Dec 28, 2018
I rotate the proteins in my dogs diet. They realllly licked their chops for this product I would like to see more proteins offered. My dogs like fish of any kind, especially salmon. They also like bison. Kibble size is small but they seemed to enjoy every, every morsel without gobbling!

Happy Girl!
By Sweetgirl on Nov 9, 2018
My German Shepherd loves this food! I love it because it has improved her overall well being! She seems more satisfied and a very happy 2 year old puppy! Her coat looks so good! I give her coconut oil daily. With this food I do not have to mix coconut oil with it. She gets that now as a treat/supplement. She has several heart issues and I am hoping and praying this food will help her heart too! The treats are awesome as well! We have tried the biscuits and now I ordered the salmon soft chews. Hoping she will love them!

High rating from Dog Food Advisor
By Mags on Oct 10, 2018 Top 1000 Contributor
Although I had some questions about the ingredient list, I did check with Dog Food Advisor for their rating which was 4.5 stars. That reassured me because I am not sure when I see peas listed high among the ingredient list. As to the dogs, Rita, my Golden-Chow, seems OK with this addition since I mix a variety of kibble in the large storage container. Gretta, our apparently permanent guest (she is a neighbor's rescue) has no issue with almost anything she is fed. I only give the smaller size kibble to my canine family members because when they become seniors, I don't want them to have chewing issues with kibble which is part but certainly not all of their daily diet. Excellent Grain Free Food
By Amazing on Nov 13, 2018
I free feed my dogs and when my Lab was older and I got my then 2 year old Havasu I decided to go grain free. This food is small enough kibble for the little dog and gentle enough for the 13 year old Lab. Even the now 21 year old cat loves it.

Quality food
By Margo on Oct 30, 2018
While I agree this food is quality, the tiny pellets are not desirable to my pittie. She is a tad snobbish, but this was like a complete foreign object to her. Just add some veggies or cheese mixed in to get her to eat all of it. If you hand feed it to her she'll take it one by one, but no one has time for that LOL
