The Smarter Way to Feed Pets
Sure Petcare Microchip Pet Feeders use “smart” technology to help you feed your pets. Great for both single and multi-pet homes, these innovative feeders use your pet’s existing microchip or the included Sure Petcare Collar Tag to trigger access to the food within. Help stop pets from stealing each other’s food and keep meals fresher with this smart-tech solution!
Microchip Pet Feeder
The Sure Petcare Microchip Pet Feeder helps keep pets in multi-pet homes from eating the wrong food. It’s designed to work with all ID microchips or the included RFID collar tag—program your pet’s chip or collar tag into the feeder and it’ll open whenever she walks up. It’s ideal for pets on prescription diets, weight management regimens and those who just can’t resist food that isn’t theirs!

Microchip Pet Feeder Connect
Keep pets out of each other’s food and monitor how much, how often and when a specific pet eats with the chip-activated Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. Use your phone to check when your pet was last fed and how much food is left in the bowl and monitor habits over time using the app, too. It even helps you weigh out accurate portions when you fill it.
Sure Petcare Hub
The Sure Petcare Hub pushes data from the Microchip Pet Feeder Connect to your smartphone via your Wi-Fi router. Then, you can easily check your pet’s feeding history and food history on the Sure Petcare app. You must have the Hub to use the app that monitors your Microchip Pet Feeder Connect.

Works with Your Existing Chip
Sure Petcare products work with all ID microchips, so you can use the vet-implanted chip your pet already has. They include an RFID collar tag with every feeder, too—in case your pet isn’t chipped—and it activates the feeder using the same smart technology. Managing pets on special diets and keeping them out of each other’s food has never been easier!

What the description doesn’t tell you
By MollyM on Feb 28, 2021
I just got this, was so relieved as I have 3 cats and two separate diets. Mealtimes were becoming a pain trying to get them to eat the right food. Watched the video in the photos section and read the written description. The video said, “works with the hub to connect with our doors”, NO WHERE does it say that you HAVE TO buy the hub (another $74) for it to work with the app. Upon reading the manual, I came to learn that the additional features I paid for (extra $30 for it to connect to their app) is really only worth it if you also buy the hub. Unfortunately, I will be returning this product and buying the one that’s $30 less. There’s no point in paying $100 more just to have the machine connect I just got this, was so relieved as I have 3 cats and two separate diets. So far, so good!
By 3CatChaos on Jan 5, 2021
I bought two feeders for my 3 cats. One needs prescription food, and 2 need regular food. The prescription food apparently tastes really good, because everyone eats it enthusiastically. We are currently in the training phase, less than a week after purchase. The cats are getting used to the lids, which currently move back and forth from about halfway when the cats trigger the sensors. I am pleased with their progress, as I understand some cats have trouble getting used to the motion. It's fairly quiet, but does also make a small sound when in motion. I am also really pleased with the basic tracking that lets me know who is eating how much from each feeder. (Currently, all three cats are authorized I bought two feeders for my 3 cats. I noticed soon after we reached the point where the feeders began moving that they would eat from the feeder they weren't authorized for, because that didn't trigger motion. When we move to full operation, each will be authorized only for the correct food.) This is very useful information that will help me notice changes in their eating before it has a chance to dramatically affect their health. The feeders themselves were very easy to set up, and they seem very sturdy. … more

best invention ever!
By Watergirly10s on Jan 30, 2021
My little Jug eats when he likes and my other pup will eat all of his food if he doesn’t finish. This device is a miracle for animals that have different eating patterns. I used the tag that came with the Kit and it works great. The feeder Wouldn’t work for larger dogs, but good for cats and little dogs!

Slow and ineffective
By Choco on Jan 4, 2021
Sometimes, it lags and doesn’t work. My Cat will be waiting in front of it Cat would be waiting in front of it but it won’t open sometimes. And the other times when it does, other cat can easily sit there right next to him and steal the food while the cat is chewing his food. So even if you buy the extra accessory to block one side, the cat can still come steal it right next to him. The only thing that’s good about it is only if my cat doesn’t finish eating his food and the other cat cannot come steal it while he is not present.

Great for Multiple Pet Homes & Special Diets
By LizZ on Jan 16, 2021
This is a very expensive feeder and I put a lot of thought into buying it. I eventually pulled the trigger, and wow, I’m glad I did! My 18 year old cat eats kidney food, and she really only eats little bits throughout the day. This feeder keeps my dog out of her bowl and I don’t need to constantly watch/separate them or feed her up on a table/countertop. It makes it much easier to have a multiple-pet household. Some reviews said it’s easy for other pets to sneak behind the feeder and steal food. I pushed it up against the kitchen cabinets and that works just fine. The only thing I didn’t like about this is that in order for it to work with to the app, you needed to buy a special hub to connect This is a very expensive feeder and I put a lot of thought into buying it. Best invention EVER!
By OMG1 on Jan 5, 2021
This has solved our feeding problem between two cats...one being a nibbler and the other a piglet! WOW! Our life is so much less complicated now! LOVE IT! (The app could use some work though...it is a bit temperamental. But Customer service with Sure Petcare is GREAT!)

Doesn't stop cat from stealing food. He pushes in while the other cat is still eating and eats all her food

Great for multi cat families
By April on Oct 29, 2020
My cat that nibbles would have nothing to eat without this feeder! The other two would finish off her food in no time flat. I have had this feeder for over a year, working perfectly!

an investment that will go a long way
By AsherandMillie on Aug 13, 2020
These feeders are a life saver when you need to know how much your pet is eating . This is an investment that will go a long way, especially as my cats age. In order to use the phone app, you do need to order the hub separately, but totally worth the investment over running countless blood tests or other expensive tests when all you really need to know is whether my cat is eating enough.
