Single use sterile syringe for the administration of insulin in dogs or cats.
Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.
Use according to your veterinarian's instructions.
Syringes should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
These syringes are prescribed by your veterinarian in order to deliver insulin to your pet. Insulin syringes list volume as units. Verify that you are ordering the correct syringe to suit the insulin that your pet is being given. Using an incorrect syringe size will result in incorrect insulin dosing. U-100 syringes are only available with a prescription from your veterinarian.
U-100 syringes are used to administer insulin to diabetic dogs and cats. You should not administer insulin injections until you have been trained by a veterinary professional to give them correctly. It is important that you are using the correct insulin syringe for the specific type of insulin your pet requires. An incorrect syringe size can result in incorrect dosing. All insulin syringes should be properly discarded in a sharps container and should not be thrown away in the trash.
Theses syringes come with less packaging. Just remove the top and needle covers to then get insulin. I like these better that paper enclosed syringes.
The syringes I generally order were out of stock and I searched for another brand with the same needle specifications. I was pleased with the reviews for these syringes and will be a repeat customer. I am pleased with the unit labeling - easy to read - and the needle application - an easy poke. Larry does not complain and hardly notices his injection. Good product and pricing. Maybe a bulk option?
Recently rescued a very senior guy I named Jackson Browne. He was totally skin and bones. After bloodwork, urinalysis, etc., it ends up he is diabetic and needs two shots per day. These syringes are so very easy to use. Jackson Browne doesn't feel a thing!
