The coil works nicely

We run so I was looking for a hands free leach. The normal ones with elastic in it stretched out right away. This one with the coil seems to be much more durable. I also recommend the version with the extra handle for when you need to have your dog in closer. My 4 star vs 5 is because the poop bag Velcro could be stronger.

Loved at first

At first glance I loved it! Seemed like a great leash and had all the bells and whistles. First use and my dog chewed his way loose in 5 minutes.

Get this thoughtfully designed leash!

Brilliantly designed. I'm all for hands-free walking/running and love that there's finally a surf>dog leash crossover option that I can attach to my forearm. I chose the Traffic design over the other so I could have the "oh shoot" strap to control my pup when needed. I love that there are two full swivels so the leash doesn't tighten up and twist as he pivots. I don't love the hook & loop attached poop bag, but I get what they were going for (not having a dangling plastic thing hit you as you run is a win). I'll opt to sew it directly onto the webbing so I don't lose it. The 'biner was sticky when I received it (gate stayed open), but was easily remedied with a little spray grease.

Genius leash

I have 10lb Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher mix and this leash checks all the criteria I was looking for. I wanted a traffic handle and this one is great because it's higher up the leash which is perfect for my closer-to-the-ground dog. The coil prevents the leash from tangling in his legs and it adds resistance to keep him from pulling. I think it would work just as well for bigger dogs. I didn't think I'd use the light function much, but I actually do when I take him out at night. The only feature I don't love is the poop bag dispenser. It's attached by velcro and the bags don't come out easily so if you pull too hard the velcro will start to unattach.

Almost great

I was looking for a leash that would allow my lab to walk far enough ahead that his tail would not hit my knees. This leash needed about another foot or two of expansion. Aside from that it is very well made with convenient features. I ended up switching the mid section out with a paddle board ankle strap and now have the longer leash I needed and it doesn’t drag in the mud when he stops to sniff?

Best leash I’ve ever owned!

Was wanting this product even before chewy started selling it. It’s wonderful, & very versatile....strap your dog to your wrist for handsfree, no problem! Move the strap to your ankle at the dog beach in the water or sitting at an outdoor restaurant, easy peasy. I think I’ve made my point.....I’m very pleased with this item!
