Resealable packaging helps maintain freshness and quality.
Hand-packed at a small family farm in the northeast.
For both Growing and Mature Animals: Unlimited amounts of fresh hay.
Small animals naturally graze and should be given unlimited hay, as it promotes physical and mental health.
When transitioning to new food, do this gradually to allow the digestive system time to adapt. When possible mix the remainder of the pellets with the new pellets. Like humans, some rabbits are resistant to change, so be patient when switching feeds.
I have a young and VERY picky holland lop called Pistachio. She's a rescue, and is super fussy about her hay. She absolutely loves this stuff. Always binkies when I open up the bag. One 40 oz bag typically lasts my bunny around 7-9 weeks (keep in mind, she's a dwarf). In my opinion, this is a wonderful product especially at such an affordable price point. This hay has a lot of texture variety, which is something I look for when finding timothy hay for any rabbit in my care. When I first rescued Pistachio, she was really gaunt and lethargic. She's bulked up to a healthy weight now which is largely due to this hay. Okay, so I had purchased this before reading the reviews. If I would have read them first, I probably wouldn't have bought this hay, but I'm glad I bought it. I have been looking for the right hay. My guinea pigs don't like the hay form the big stores where I live because it's too hard. This hay is perfect for them and they absolutely love it. I cannot keep enough of it in their cage. It is the best quality hay I've seen so far and for the price!? You cannot beat it. Thank you! I'll definitely be buying this from now on.
My piggies loved it

Soooo happy I can get hay in a bulk size now. So much cheaper. My 7 piggies eat alot of hay. This hay is alot longer than the stuff I used to get them and has a ton of the fluffy tops.
Would not recommend

Would not recommend this item at all! None of my four guinea pigs liked it, and I had to purchase Oxbow stacks to get them back on hay. A lot of long pieces in the bag, which resulted in making a mess when removing from the bag for feeding. I ended up throwing the bag away.
Great looking and quality hay

I purchased hay to try out this brand and I was not disappointed. When opening the box the room got fill with a grassy sweet aroma. It was golden brown and green. As soon as Puddin smelled the hay she dashed toward it and started munching on it. She has been eating it non stop for about 5 minutes. I'm glad she loves it. My other bunny Dio loves it as much as she does too. This should last me a couple months. I shall repurchase in the future.

i recently purchased this brand to try out for my little guineas and to potentially save a few bucks and i am pleasantly surprised! when i opened the box the hay had such a wonderful sweet smell to it and normally my girls are super picky about their hay but after just a few days they LOVE it! i will definitely be buying this hay from now on :)
Poor quality hay

I bought a 10lb box for my rabbits, but there was a lot of brown, dead hay mixed in that they wouldn't eat. It certainly didn't look like "first cut" to me. This is lower quality hay than I can find locally, so I won't be buying again.
Non-fussy eater won't eat

I was excited to get this hay because of the great reviews. When the box came, it smelled wonderful. When I opened the box, the hay was a bit brown and twiggy, but didn't seem bad. Sadly, when I gave it to my little guy, he refused to eat it. He even shook his head "no" when I offered him a seed top (his favourite). My piggy is not a fussy eater, but something about this hay he doesn't like. He won't even use it as a bed.
don’t waste your money

Purchased because our first choose wasn’t in stock. Never again it was all brown, packed tight into box. Once we got it out our Guinea pigs won’t touch it. In two years I’ve never seen them refuse hay so now not only do I have to throw away but rush out to find a substitute.
My degus LOVE this hay!

I buy different brands/varieties of hay but my degus always prefer this one best for both bedding and eating. I used to buy it locally before Covid came so I'm really glad chewy carries it now!
