Pretty bummed.
I bought a box recently and it smelled amazing. The hay was fresh and my guinea pigs went crazy. This box I just received (12-1-22) was dry, absolutely no smell. Mostly powder on the bottom. And I realized very quickly wasn't 9 lbs. I found a heavy metal hay feeder in my box. Thinking maybe a nice treat from the hay company. Nope looks like it was for weight. Because the last box fluffed out filled 3 full totes. This one was 1.5 and that's not including all the powder I didn't even bother to put in the container. I'd say I got maybe Possibly 6lbs. Pretty bummed. I loved this company. Now I'm just annoyed.
Great hay for our Guinea pigs
We have our own plus various numbers of foster piggies at any given time. We started using this hay since it came in larger quantities. Our piggies all enjoy it and the hay is always fresh with a full box of hay and very few crumbs
Timothy hey for my 2 tortoise
It's perfect and shipped fast. I thought it would be alittle more moist but soaked in water and chipped they love it . Thanks. Dave
Brown and yucky
Seems like all Timothy Hay is just not fresh anymore. This was really brown and yucky and had stickers all thru it!
My bunny loves this hay!
My bunny loves this hay! Been giving it to her for 5 years now after switching from Oxbow (which she refused to eat no matter which type from that brand). Love the first cut pieces of Hay. I at least order this hay twice a month because my bunny loves to eat so much of it. I have occasionally received some off bags, typically in winter months but all the other times of year or been wonderful. I’ve never had a issue with a off bag when ordering from my local pet store or Sweet Meadow Farm themself but I am glad that chewy carries this brand. The hay always smells fresh and my bunny tries to eat it before it arrives in her cage. She also enjoys foraging with it, laying on it and at times she stretches out to lay/eat it up while laying down. This hay has been great for her digestion! I do recommend this hay.
Hay for bunnies
The hay I got from Fresh Meadow Farms looked old and was brownish in color. Also, the hay was very thin.
Dry Dry Dry
This is the worst product I have ever seen for pet rabbits. Two boxes and both of them are so dry and brown. Seems they are so old that they dont even have a smell. My rabbits eat all day and they use this product to spread around like bedding.
Great Hay for the 6 bunnies
The overall quality of the Timothy hay was great. The 'filth' level was low so there was more good, usable hay rather than other hays which are nothing but a dusty, chaffy mess.

Hard and not cut
I didn’t live not even the rabbits like that hard did not smell fresh and stringy very long was everywhere. Practically poked me in the eye when I was taking it out terrible
