wish I could rate these higher
I really like the idea of these, but unfortunately I can't say they are durable. I foster dogs and I often have puppies as fosters. I thought these might work for my current foster who is big into chewing/teething as a redirect. She loved it, but she destroyed one in about 4 minutes. She is about 17 pounds, so maybe for a smaller kid.
Poor Durability
I have a 7 lb Alaskan Klee Kai puppy that is 15 weeks old and like other reviewers the ring separated at the seam on the first day. Don’t waste your money on this one. Buy Kong products he loves them and they don’t fall apart
Great for a litter of puppies
Bought these while fostering a litter of hound puppies from 3 weeks to 8 weeks old. I put them on first thing in the morning. Yes they are a little expensive but worth it for the bites and scratches they save me from! I normally slip them off my wrist to distract a puppy from biting my hands. Essential tool for puppy raising.
Save your money
Product was destroyed in less than one minute by a 3 month old mini goldendoodle.
Piranha Puppy Must Have
These have been amazing to have, literally on-hand, for the piranha puppy. I do wish they stretched just a little more as my hand becomes quite sore, almost bruised after sliding off and on.
Best Toy for Indoor Fetch
My yellow labs have lots of energy, but we live in a cold weather climate. This is the best fetch toy I've found for getting out their energy indoors when it's too cold to play outside. The dogs love chasing after them when they roll, and unlike balls, the rings don't easily knock over lamps or other furniture. The labs also like playing tug with them when they bring them back to me. It's a bonus that there are multiples in a stack. That way, I always have another one ready if my pup is hesitant to release. These clean up easily in the dishwasher too. So happy I found this set!
Not phased
My puppy wasn’t phased by this toy. Barely used it, thought maybe she was too young at the time because she was 3 months old, but now she’s 7 months, there’s barely any teeth marks. She wasn’t a fan, I feel like there are other better teething toys out there that are less expensive
Dog Trainer Approved and Recommended!
I absolutely LOVE these for puppies and for training! This toy is perfect for re-directing puppy nipping and biting, especially since you can wear them anytime you are handling your puppy. Highly suggest keeping one of these on you at all times when training your puppy to not chew on things and to not nip your hands. Important to note, this is not a HARD chew. It is meant for teething, playing, and training. Not expected to be like a bone for chewing. It works perfectly for what it was designed for, and I couldn't be happier with it!
Poor quality
Idea is great to have chewing objects readily available for those sweet chewing puppies. However the bracelets did not last a day. Thank you Chewy for refunding.
Did not work for me
I had high hopes for the Wearable Puppy Teether Stack Dog Chew Toy, even though I thought they were overpriced. When I wore one as a bracelet (the bracelets did not fit over my husband's hand), my puppy did chew on the bracelet but his sharp teeth still included my skin underneath the bracelet. I ordered 2 sets and still want to keep one set because my dog likes to bite it (I give it to her when it is NOT on my wrist) and play fetch with it. I want to return the 2nd set.
