This product is amazing for absorbing and neutralizing ammonia. We have a 12 hen chicken coop in which we use pine shavings bedding. Especially in winter we like to just add shavings - the pdz captures all the stink and lets us wait till better weather to change all of the shavings. Also we have a miniature pot-bellied pig. This is wonderful to spread over her outside potty area underneath the wood chips!! Highly recommend!!

Sweet PDZ is my "go-to" when it comes to mucking out the barn and getting rid of the ammonia smells. This is the powder form, which has a lot of dust to it and can get all over your clothes like chalk dust---but it safely does the job. Hopefully Chewy will add the granules to their lineup soon, as these are better than the powder in my opinion and creates less mess.

Sweet PDZ is the best for deodorizing urine ammonia smells in stalls. I have used “Barn Dry” which works well but doesn’t neutralize ammonia very well. PDZ comes in a granular form which I much prefer to the powder. Less dust and more control where it is spread. Perhaps Chewy could offer both powder and granular.

We have 4 smaller dogs that like to pee right out side out door. We tried everything... other products...home remedies. We found ways to encourage them to pee elsewhere, but this help to clear the smell in their favorite spot.

I bought this to try in three of my stalls that are used heavily, even though the stalls are cleaned multiple times a day and full of shavings sometimes the ammonia smell could be bad in the mornings. So we gave this product a try and it works great! I don’t use it every day maybe once every 3 days sometimes longer... be forewarned though the powder is pretty fine.

Keeps my horse stalls and chicken coops dry, clean and fresh. Plus it's safe for my compost pile!

I not only use this product for the horse stalls, I also use it for the dog kennels yard area... Living in the Florida heat will enhance the urine smell, but this stuff is GREAT....!!! I have tried a host of things, but PDZ has by far worked the best for the stalls and the play yard... I used the granular at first, but prefer the powder... I transfer it to a bin due to the packaging, and then take out what I need as I need it... I am so happy Chewy started carrying this...

I have used pdz for decades when cleaning horse stalls. It helps dry any remaining urine and neutralizes the ammonia odor on stall mats after removing soiled shavings. Also great for barn center aisle clean up.

I like PDZ stall refresher and I think it really does do what is promised. I have 2 horses and even though I clean daily, I could still smell ammonia when I uncovered their stall mats. Not anymore! I pick out the manure and wet spots, sprinkle 2 cups of PDZ and rake the stall smooth. No smell. HOWEVER, this product needs to be packaged differently. It comes is a plastic bag. It is a very fine powder. The bag leaks. Every time. On my most recent order, about 1/4 of the powder was loose in the bottom of the shipping box. By the time a put it in my car and take it to the barn, there is powder all over the trunk of my car. Hey PDZ, how about packaging in a bucket?

I had heard that this would work but WOW was I shocked at How well it works! Great product! Definitely using this from now on!
