How long will each bag last? How often does the entire litterbox need to be cleaned out.
Answer by ChewyDec 20, 2022
It is recommend 3-4 inches of sWheat Scoop natural cat litter. Depending on how many cats use the litterbox and how often, will determine the longevity of a bag and how often it will need to be cleaned.

Does this stick to the bottom of the litter box?
Answer by ChewyOct 26, 2022
sWheat Scoop Easy Maintenance litter is a stronger, faster clumping litter and is less likely to reach the bottom of the litter box than other brands. You should keep at least 3-4 inches of litter in the box to establish good clumping and odor control. This will also make the litter last longer. To prevent any litter from sticking to the bottom of the litter box, try spraying the box with a non-stick cooking spray before adding in the litter. This will prevent any clumps from sticking.

is the corn Non-GMO
Answer by ChewyAug 17, 2022
sWheat only uses non-GMO corn in their recipes.

Awful smelling after use!

This cat litter scoops well which is definitely a plus and why it got the 2nd star on the rating but after the cats have used it a few times it smells like a human Porta potty! The fowlest smelling litter box ever!

Not good for my cats

Not good for my cats - the smell was weird, there was still dust, didn't clump nicely like other litters and never really hardened but rather softened in the trash bin making more of a mess

If Only My Cats Used It

My cats have voted. It has been three weeks that I've tried to get my cats to use this litter. They will only use the litter pans with clay litter. They will not use the litter pans containing "sWheat scoop" wheat and corn.

Side effect

It worked fine in my automated cat pan, but some how, I have flies now. I remember when I used it a few years back ad the same problem happened.

Flushable, no odor

I would give this five stars, but urine clumping could be better. I love that I can clean my cat's litter daily, in just a couple minutes, without excessive odor. Non-cat people don't smell anything with regular cleanings, and it doesn't have fake perfumes that trigger my migraines. Just flush it right down the toilet. Definitely recommend this stuff.

Great litter, great value.

With inflation and prices going up this, by far, is a bargain. Natural, effective kitty litter and retains odors effectively and best price available for such content.

works really well, no dust

I'm so happy to have finally found a non-clay, no dust, clumping litter! I do think it's a little spendy, but, really, what isn't nowdays? This is actually worth the money, because I no longer have litter-dust tracks on my furniture, the cats are fine with using it, Chewy delivers it to my door, and all of that just makes life easier for me. Thank you!

Would order again

My cats like this litter. It's not dusty like clay so I feel better about them not inhaling dust. I like that it's lighter weight than clay as well. This litter clumps and is easy to scoop. It does tend to track around the house, but that could be said of almost all litter. It does an alright job of keeping the smell down as long as I scoop every day. Chewy has it for a decent price and it's hard to find where I live, so that's why I bought it online.

CAUTION CANCER

I lost one cat in December with intestinal cancer and my other one diagnosed Friday with intestinal cancer!!!!! Wheat, corn, and corn byproduct litter can develop a fungus called “aflatoxins.” This fungus can be fatal to cats. Aflatoxins can grow in dehydrated corn or wheat when it gets damp from urine or humidity and transform into mycotoxins, which are deadly. This fungus can get on your kitty’s paw and get tracked through your house. And when she grooms herself, she’s destined to swallow a bit of it. Scariest of all, aflatoxins cause cancer. So, I considered that maybe mycotoxins are super rare and maybe I shouldn’t worry about them. So, how common are mycotoxins? More common than I realized. One study from 2016 tested almost 480 samples of dried grains and corn like those used for cat litters and 90% of the corn samples contained mycotoxin and 100% of dried grains. Both corn and wheat litters can also contain harmful herbicides. Some herbicides cause chronic bowel disease and many vets consider them carcinogenic.

Not a fan.

Seemed to track more than others and I thought it had a strange smell.
