Currently I have nine cats that share their home with me, because they need me to scoop, and to open the cans. This kitty litter has everything going for it right out of the bag. I ordered a 25 pounder to start in a couple of the boxes. The bag, has a HANDLE on the side to help you pour! The bag is resealable once opened. And its recyclable once its emptied. Tiny miniscule amount of dust when i first filled the boxes, but no dust while the cats do their business or when the human cleaning crew comes later. I have asthma so thats a big deal right there. The clumps sift easily from the clean and so far it does not track like the scoopable clay ive been using. With longhaired cats if it should stick, it falls off after it dries rather than turn to a cement clump in kitty's fur. Im a cat show exhibitor, and we often stay overnight in hotels. This litter is flushable. (Huge benefit) Last but certainly not least, this wonder litter is AFFORDABLE. The multicat 25 pound bag is 20.00 and change. A quality litter with all the benefits i like, i can afford to fill nine cats worth of litter boxes. So if youre on the fence, rest assured theres no reason to be. Take the plunge, you and your cats will not regret it! If ingested it will not make the kittens sick.(they have to taste EVERYTHING. … more

Cats so turned off they peed outside the box

When I had a mix of about 1/3rd SWheat the cats stopped using the box. It went on for two days, until we noticed a smell. One cat was urinating, but not defecating in the box, the other was not using it at all. We haven't figured out where they are peeing yet and the house smells pretty bad. It may be that other cats love this stuff, but our cats do not. I ordered two large bags to take advantage of the free shipping - bad move! Now I have two bags, one nearly full, the other unopened, that are useless to me. If you buy this, buy one bag first, the smallest available, because there are no guarantees your cat(s) will use it. Note: when I dumped out the mix and put ONLY the former product in the cat box, the male who had refused to use the mix immediately jumped in and defecated - hugely. He had been holding it for at least two days. Given the smell in our house now I can only call this a disaster! … more
