    Best litter I have used

I have had indoor kitties for about fifty years now. I have tried a couple of different kitty litter products both clumping and non-clumping over the years. However, I believe that Swheat Scoop kitty litter is the best litter that I have used. I have had as many as three kitties in my home at a time I have had indoor kitties for about fifty years now. I have tried a couple of different kitty litter products both clumping and non-clumping over the years. However, I believe that Swheat Scoop kitty litter is the best litter that I have used. I have had as many as three kitties in my home at a time who have used one large litter box. This litter controls odors well, clumps very well and is easy to scoop. I have also used this litter in an outbuilding and a garage that were NOT climate controlled. I am in Georgia with temperature extremes from freezing to unbearable heat and HUMIDITY and this litter has worked great in all extremes. If you keep your kitty box picked out well and just add a bit of litter between box cleanings to keep the recommended depth you can get several weeks of use before a box cleaning is needed - even with a couple of cats. Well worth the money. … more

It does cement itself to the bottom but unless you don’t have much strength then it really isn’t a problem...probably wouldn’t recommend to someone elderly with arthritis for example. The smell of oats is nice however when it comes to ammonia control this litter really does not last long, a week and a half maybe at best? (I clean the box 1-2 times per day.) This is what really turned me off about this litter. My black and white cat’s feet and paws are now a very distinct and noticeable beige color with the same smell of the litter. Don’t think I’ll be buying again. … more
