Great for the price
I have been ordering these for my bearded dragon for the past few months because it is a better price than anything I've found locally. They come with plenty of food and when left to grow for just a couple days after they arrive, they are ready for my beardie to eat. I usually give her one a day and by the last one they are huge. I'm very happy with these!
Always great worms!
I've ordered hornworms three times from Chewy. It's been a great experience and we always have one or two that don't make it, but that has been the case any time we order bugs online. These guys arrive about 1/2-1" long. Over the period of 6-10 days they can get up to 4" long. My full grown male likes them best when they are about 2-3". When they are starting to die off (usually from lack of food or eating their own poo) they will turn a pale green. They aren't bad to feed to your bearded dragon, but the nutrition level isn't as good either. I was told to think of these as a protein shake. It's not a meal, it's a supplement or a snack.
Excellent Product
These are the healthiest horn worms I have purchased. Price is good worms are healthy and you actually get a good amount of them! One stead of just a couple like some stores try to sell them. Very pleased with these!
Very happy
I have to admit I was worried about them arriving dead but they came in earlier than expected and all of them were alive I would recommend ordering from them
Not the best value
About 9 arrived alive, they were tiny when I received them, maybe 1/2" long. Only 5 survived the next few days and grew big enough to feed my dragon.
Beardie Approved
All of the hornworms arrived alive! They're a bit sleepy due to the cold weather, but once they warm up they're back to normal. There were at least 20 of them in the cup, if not more, and they were around 1.5" long and a good size. My bearded dragon absolutely loved these, and I'll definitely be ordering them again. 10/10 would recommend!
great live food!
this is the first time i ordered live food online, but all the worms came alive and the container was in perfect shape, i was nervous it would get damaged in shipping, but it didn’t! definitely recommend and will buy again! my beardie loves them!
2 out the 12 worms were alive. package not damaged
Only 2 out of the 12 were alive when I got them. I was waiting on these for my beardie. Disappointed.
