loved it, but made him itchy

    By on

My dog is not picky at all and loved this food. I usually feed him the Bison but my local store was out so I got the lamb. Initially everything was fine but after a few weeks he started to itch his legs a lot and has chewed off nearly all the fur around his butt. Watching a 70lb golden gag up a hairball is not on my list of great ways to wake up at 5am. Switching back to the bison so hopefully that will help him!

    Good & Bad Times!

    By on

Sadie my boxer really waits for that big box of yummy food & treats. Also plays and chews up the box as a toy. We’ve learned that we can count on Chewy in good times, regular life and, when the world is facing some dark times like right now. Thank you Chewy, for being there for Sadie, have I mentioned she loves her food?

    Just Not For my Dog

    By on

My dog ate a couple versions of Blue Buffalo prior to this and after the recalls I did a lot of research comparing Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild to see which was better. I wanted to like this dog food based on that research, but unfortunately my dog was not a fan. She can have a sensitive stomach from time to time and this dog food seemed to triggered her allergies in some way. She threw up a couple of times, had very itchy ears and eventually wouldn't come near the dog food. Had to switch her back to Blue Buffalo "Basics" brand.

Our dog has been eating this food since she was a pup and loves all the different high grade foods grain free or otherwise. She goes wild when the Chewy box comes. She has never had allergies, skin issues or GI issues!

    Great Product

We switched to the ancient grain line after the grain free food heart problem scare. Our 10 year-old Corgi loves all of the ancient grain flavors. We cycle through them! He’s been on TOTW since he was a pup.

    Picky eaters

    By on

I've been feeding my labs Taste of the Wild for about a year now and thought I'd try a different flavor. We're almost finished the bag but they will only eat when mixed with canned food. I'm guessing lamb is not their thing :-)

    Dogs new favorite

    By on

I would normally feed my dog and cat Acana but since the dcm reports and the fact that Acana still havent brought out their "with wholesome grains" line yet i decided to make a switch as Taste of wild brought in there ancient grains line. I must say my dog LOVES this food. We have tried a small bag of the lamb and the fish one and she seems to take to it more than Acana even! 100% recommend. While i switched my cat to purina one i hope Taste of the wild comes out with grains cat food now so they can both be totally converted!

    Very Disappointed!!

This food is being rejected by my dog. The food has caused a very upset digestive system. He waits till he is very hungry before eating. I will not get this formula again.

    healthy food

I have done so much research to find dog food without added ingredients that are harmful to dog. Especially when a china product, you would not believe !! This is the best safest food i can afford. Many flavors and i know they are eating what is good for a dog. My dogs are very healthy and 7 years old now.

    Doodle Approved

Lamb w/Ancient Grains is a hit with my dog. She even eats it without a topper. She never use to eat kibble without wet food mixed in. Good stools and no gross anal sac issues or gas like she’s had with other food. Good ingredients and a great price!
