Chewy is terrible, not the product

    By on

Chewy is not an honest company. They tell you the shipping date, take your money and then inform you it will be longer, and then it’s longer than that date! Almost two weeks to receive my 2-3 day promised shipping order!! Full of excuses. Just be truthful!! Never will recommend or use again. Defeated my purpose of ordering on line as I ran out of pet food, and had to visit the store. No compensation offer when I called.

    Grains are good!!

    By on

I use to use grain free dog food with the hype of it all. But after my OWN research I decided to switch back to grains. Grains are good!! Grain free causes its own set of problems. I’ve had multiple people say the articles are biased but I’ve read articles that are NOT biased also. All companies are doing grain free now and are typically more expensive. They don’t gain anything from having customers purchase grain inclusive dog food. Dogs have evolved since their wolf dependents. Their nutritional requirements are not the same anymore. And they live much longer than their ancestors. Dogs have evolved to digest grains, and including grains includes nutrients and vitamins that are beneficial. The only way I can support grain free is for sensitive doggos. Which does exist but is very rare. Omit gluten before you omit all grains. … more

    Dogs really love it

    By on

They can't wait til I put it in their bowls. We were already using Taste of the Wild, but vet recommended we use something with grain. They seem to prefer this over the Salmon.

    Great Food

    By on

I just found out that my dog has food allergies but my vet says still needs to have grains. I called Chewy and they help me find this food so I don't have to buy prescription food. She loved the food. So far so good!

It’s a hit with my dogs!

My dogs love it! Smells awful to me but they get really excited when I open the container to feed them! They have no stomach issues or any other problems with this food.

Food is great. Brownie loves it and keeps him healthy and going and much less gassy than multiple other brands we've tried.

    Not sure what’s wrong

    By on

Bought this food as my older puppy goes crazy for duck and turkey. Currently transitioning him from Taste of the Wild puppy food to dog food so thought this would be amazing, especially with all the 5 star reviews. However, my dog will not go near it, I put it down and he looks at me like “really? That’s what you’re giving me” and walks off. I’ve messaged chewy, as maybe I just got a bad bag.

Wanted to switch tona grain inclusive brand, they typically love duck food but both my dogs would pick through and eat their old food. May work for your dogs, but was a no go for us
