    Healthier Dog!

    My dog (English Bulldog 1y4m) seems to like the food. Since switching to this food, he is pooping more frequently (previously once a day) and his poop is brown and solid like proper poop (his poop on his old food was yellowish and mushed down into the grass when I tried to pick it up), his coat is also My dog (English Bulldog 1y4m) seems to like the food. Since switching to this food, he is pooping more frequently (previously once a day) and his poop is brown and solid like proper poop (his poop on his old food was yellowish and mushed down into the grass when I tried to pick it up), his coat is also a little bit softer. The only thing I don't like is I feel like the "wild" is slightly misleading. I switched to this food because I feel like factory farmed meat is probably not good for dogs' long term health, and while it does contain some wild meat (pasture raised not wild wild but that's probably fine) I feel like from reading the ingredients the primary sources are chicken and lamb which are probably factory farmed. Oh well. I also wish the bag was resealable. … more

    Always a gamble...

    I've been trying to find a solid, staple dry food for our 2-year-old rescued Lab mix, and he's been more or less indifferent to the brands we've tried up 'til now - Taste of the Wild sounded promising, and I took the plunge based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews; it may be great for dogs, but my I've been trying to find a solid, staple dry food for our 2-year-old rescued Lab mix, and he's been more or less indifferent to the brands we've tried up 'til now - Taste of the Wild sounded promising, and I took the plunge based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews; it may be great for dogs, but my dog hates it. I need to seek out smallest portions possible when trying new foods to avoid being stuck with a large unwanted bag. To reiterate: the food may be fine, but my dog won't eat it. … more
