  • Taste of the Wild is always a WINNER!

My little rescue dog, Teddy, started off his life with horrible allergies, hot spots on his skin and continual itching and scratching. He had lost most of the fur on his neck through consistent scratching, and I used a very expensive anti-allergy food for a year or so, and he still had many of the same issues. So, after reading about Taste of the Wild, decided to introduce it to him as we finished off his old food. Used the Pacific formula until this time, and decided to try the Sierra Mountain. He absolutely loves it as well as the dog I am caring for a few weeks. His coat is full and soft, and no allergies have been noticeable since introducing Taste of the Wild food to him. I also sprinkle a few drops of olive oil over his morning meal, especially in our dry desert climate. Thanks so much for making this brand available to us through Chewy. I always receive my order in a very few days in perfect condition and as ordered. … more

  • She's WILD over it!!!

    By on

Jade is a 10 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has eaten Science Diet for the last 10 years. I was at a point of having to add treats to get her to eat! The day Taste of the Wild showed up my friend came over with her dog. Her dog, Sami is not normally aggressive. I cut the bag open & she went wild alright! She became protective over the bag & it wasn't even hers. They both loved the food. Sami is a medium sized black curr mix. Needless to say. Sami now has her mommy buying Taste of the wild now to. Lol.

  • Great food, picky dog

    By on

I am the owner of a very picky dog with a very sensitive stomach... I love how this food has reacted with his health issues, we have not had one problem since switching. Unfortunately, my pup is very picky about his food and hasn’t taken much of a liking to the taste. I have to put treats in it to make him eat it. My other pup loves it though and gobbles it right up, even though she is a pretty picky eater herself. It all depends on your dog and what they like! Definitely recommend!

Recent results prove one of our German Wirehair Pointers has a lot of food and airborne allergies. So far Tast of the Whild Sierra and one other brand are we can purchase for our pooch. Sure wish it was not so costly. But I am happy we have this option. Shipping was fast and product was as we expected. Thanks Chewy!!

  • We love Taste of the Wild

    By on

I have 3 large Siberian Huskies and this is all I feed them!! We started this when they were puppies due to other (expensive) brands causing stomach issues. We have since had no issues and continue to love the products. They are now 2 years old. I love having the food delivered each month along with a months supply of treats, etc.

  • NO CHICKEN FORMULA

    By on

I wanted to try a "no chicken", "no grain" dry food for my Black Lab COAL who is having allergy issues. He enjoyed the taste of this Taste of the Wild Mountain Grain-Free right from the first bowl about 2 weeks ago and I am hoping to see results for his allergy symptoms.

  • Great food

    By on

We have husky/wolf hybrids. This food works well for them. One of our dogs had a lot of allergies and this was one of the few we found that he wasn’t allergic too. We change flavors for them to have a variety but never the brand. Their coats are healthy and their weight is too.

  • The switch

    By on

I switched from Fromm to this food and so far the transition is going well. Since Chewy no longer carries Fromm I tried to switch companies so I can continue with Fromm but the service with that company was horrible. I'm so happy that I found another good food that's working for my 6 dogs and so glad to be back with Chewy.

This variety like every other of Taste of the Wild gets my dog Colt excited the minute he hears the storage bin open! I've been giving him TOTW for 6 years, and he always gets a thumbs up from the vet on his visits. Colt gives TOTW 4 paws up!!!

  • Almost great

    By on

Our lab has severe allergies, and Taste of the Wild has worked great to manage her allergies. We have been feeding her the salmon version, but switched to this when she got picky. She is eating it, but is a little more gassy than prior to this food.
