Well written
By RodM on Mar 16, 2020
I enjoyed the book for the experience and knowledge of the author and his dedication to dogs plus his service to our country. As a fellow veteran, I am so proud of our dedicated military and their willingness to volunteer their services and the enormous risk they undertake. That having been said, I was able to use many of his tips to train my dog, although a lot of his instructions was geared more to the Military dog and the discipline they had to have. I would just liked to have had more information and techniques for my run of the mill (but a big part of the family) Shiatsu. His major faults are barking at strangers at the door or in the neighborhood, he will not always come when called (Even I enjoyed the book for the experience and knowledge of the author and his dedication to dogs plus his service to our country. I had this book and lost it when I first got started. I am now half way through and love it. As a dog trainer it’s one I definitely recommend especially at the very affordable price.

Dog training book
By Sharolyn on Mar 13, 2019
What I have read so far is an easy read with good information along with breaks in all the training info by stories of dogs intermixed in. I’m sure I will gain significant knowledge along the rest of the read.

This is an AMAZING book!
By Kira58 on Sep 9, 2017
I highly recommend it for anyone who owns a dog, is currently training a dog, or looking to get a dog. It is well worth the read! For All the Canine Enthusiasts! This is a highly informative book regarding training techniques, behavior, diet, exercise, and more. It is an easy read with personal stories from the authors' life. This book will NOT bore you. Not only does the author share his opinion and expertise on how to appropriately handle dogs, he explains why. All of his claims, tips, and tricks are backed up with an understandable explanation. It is a great book to have on hand, as I have gone back and referenced it multiple times.
