Help your dog keep his cool with the TechNiche International Evaporative Cooling Dog Pad. Using advanced HyperKewl technology, it works by “super-charging” his body’s natural cooling process, and this is done with the unique fabric that absorbs and slowly releases water through evaporation—sort of like sweating, only way more effective. And all you have to do is soak the pad in water for one to two minutes, squeeze out the excess, and then enjoy 5 to 10 hours of cooling relief! It can actually cool his temperature by up to 15 degrees, with a convenient indoor/outdoor design.

My dog seems to have hot flashes like me. He will love this mat. But if he doesn't I may use it.. lol.
I didn’t realize when I purchased that you need to soak the product before using, consequently, it was wet. My dog didn’t want to get on it, and it didn’t feel particularly cool to me- just wet. Dirty paws will become muddy. Can use in a plastic crate, but not on a hardwood floor or a fabric carrier. A wide miss for me.
Sierra is a very hot-natured dog and she seems to be attracted to this mat.
The size is totally off as described in the site, there are no washing directions or other care instructions.
The cooling pad leaked water all over my wood floors. I even put covers on them and they still leaked. Was not happy with them. Chewy gave me a refund on they and I donated them to a dog shelter.
Love this. I fold it and it fits in his carrier. I live in the southwest and it is hot. This keeps my dog cool.
I was thinking this would be a gel technology and would absorb the water and stay cool but it doesn't. In order to be cool it has to be actively wet and I do not mean damp- wet. I would not recommend if you do not want your dog getting damp- and in turn when he walks away after being on it he leaves wet/damp paw prints around
I bought this for my Layla for the heat because she loves ice cubes and for me to rub her with an ice pack. I got it wet and put in my freezer for a little bit. I just put it on a towel and showed it to her. She smelled it, pawed it then went under my bed and would not come out. So this wasn't a good idea for my Layla
i put mine in the freezer for a little as well as the regular directions. works amazing! he wouldn’t lay on it, i think because it felt wet. he enjoys it very much draped on top of him while he sleeps.
My dog used this pad once. Every time after that when I put it out over her favorite spot to lay, she would drag it out of the way and ignore it. I don't blame her. The thing always held too much water. Even when I tried to squeeze it out a little, it was sopping wet. And every time I handled it, it left a slick, sort of slimy feel on my hands. I didn't enjoy the experience and neither did my dog. This pad was a waste of money for me. I wish I could have returned it.
