I know the treats have a "crunchy" outside, but is it a HARD enough outer shell to keep tartar off their teeth - like a regular "nibbles" diet do?

They chew these!

The regular size Temptations just get swallowed whole by my cats. These are better because my cats actually will bite and chew them. They do LOVE their Temptations.

Kitty approved

My cat loves these treats. He comes running as soon as he hears them. The plastic container in the large size is great for storage. No falling over in the cabinet.

Cats love it

Our cats love these treats and will come running when we shake the container but don't order them with cases of food. Our container got smashed to smithereens between four of the cases of food we ordered.

What a surprise!

My 6 cats love Temptation treats, but this Jumbo stuff Chicken was not at all a favorite with them. They would ask for treats, then walk off when they sniffed the flavor. Wish they had the Turkey in large containers as well as the Lobster!

jumbo stuffed

its hard enough to find the food my cat likes, the jumbo stuffed WAS NOT jumbo stuffed. the regular turkey(tempations) had more stuffed than the chicken.

Crunchy Crunch

My cats absolutely love these Temptations. I think aside from the flavor, it's because they are so jumbo. They look so cute when they scrunch their noses when they start chewing one up.
