Something's fishy... and I like it!

Ok, I had to write this to balance out the other reviews that said "this had a weird fishy smell". Imagine buying a food that's made of fish... and complaining about fish smell! Dogs are not people, they love fish smells (and I must say, I didn't really find it that unpleasant either, it smells like dried fish jerky... I would think it's weird if it didn't!). My female dog recently developed an allergy to almost every protein except whitefish, so this fit the bill. I mix it with raw diet freeze dried fish food, but that's very expensive to feed exclusively, so I like to have a base high quality kibble. This has limited ingredients, so I feel good about feeding it, and the dogs both devour it like they love it. My only regret is getting 2 big bags the day before the Fall sale (I didn't know), but I ended up buying 2 more bags because of that. Good to stock up, but I hope mice don't get to it!

Goodbye small quantity to test your dog

I bought the small bag of this and I'm glad I did because my little dog Coco who is a mixed dog she is poodle or Tire Terrier and Corgi mix she doesn't seem to care for this food the test your dog with a small quantity until you find out if it will like it or not

Food was sent out of date

Chewy sent out-of-date food to my dogs and it wasn't until both my dogs became very ill and 1,100 later that I realized it. This is not the same food I had been buying in the grocery store. Awful.

Not the same

I am sure the quality is similar BUT this is not the same as what I was buying in the local store. The size of the kibble is about 3x larger than what I had purchased locally even though it had the exact same labeling. The bag shows it is 4 lbs instead of 3 lbs from the local store. It is also not as strong smelling as my original purchase from the store. THE BIG PROBLEM - both cats don't like it but gobbled up the locally bought. I think it is a good product but the buyers need to be aware of the difference. I would recommend it with the information provided.

Awesome Dry Dog Food

My dog can't wait for me to fill his dish in the morning! He absolutely loves the flavor of this healthy seafood dog food (the cat even likes it too!). It also does not give him fish breath. Great product!

Organic food

My dog loves his new food, and goobles it up.. hes a very picky eater and it never makes him sick at all or mess with his stools or his belly, he is doing well on it and we will most likely continue using it too.

New favorite

My little Dottie is 15 years old with sensitive skin, sensitive tummy, and missing a few teeth. She LOVES this food. The pieces are thin and easy for her to chew. She eats it easily and it does good with her food sensitivities. She hops around and talks to me when she sees me pick the bag up.

Stinks…pick another flavor

This stuff smells so bad. My chihuahuas would not eat this and I could not stand the smell to open the bag….my labs ate it but they’ll eat anything.
