    Not a good product

    By on

No instructions on how to put this together or properly use. Did not come with a suction cup either. I rigged up my own. I also had to use a rubber band to keep two of the pieces attached and not fall apart. I was able to take out the plastic "screen" since I'm cleaning out a turtle tank and needed larger pieces to be sucked up (no gravel like in a fish aquarium.) To use, you need to place the dump bucket on the floor, run the tube all the way down into it, and squeeze the bulb a ton of times in rapid succession to get enough suction going and get the water flowing. This seemed to take forever but was easier the 2nd time I used it. There is a stopper valve that doesn't really work. It leaks No instructions on how to put this together or properly use. So just have everything all ready to go (buckets, etc.) … more

    Do not buy

I agree with the previous reviews and wish I saw them prior to my order. What I received is not the same as what I ordered. Didn’t come with any instructions or suction cup. The piece attached to the filter is much longer, couldn’t get water to siphon up past the waterline of my tank. Waste of time and money, I want refund.

Not even the same as picture

cheap siphon that I can't even use. It doesn't have the clamps, suction cup like the instructions said it had. and it just falls right apart. The tube doesn't even fit the siphon. Its to big. Also really flimsy. I want a refund.

    One two three...

An excellent tool when cleaning my fish tank. I don't know how I never though of this before. The blue part is a pump that u squeeze like a pump and the water just starts flowing out, it took me half the time it usually does when emptying and cleaning my tank.

    Doesn’t perform as expected

I hate this pump passionately. It doesn’t suck up any of the debris from my tank and takes way too long to get the suction started.

Hole in the tube after one use.

    By on

I ordered this because I was sick of the traditional tubing that gets stuck in a certain position every time. The tubing was definitely flexible, but the material was really cheap and cracked a little after just one use. Design is good in theory but this product is a little too flimsy to be worth buying.

Worked, just not for what I needed it for

    By on

I bought this for my two 10 gallon tanks, as they’re lower than my other tanks and therefore take longer with the smaller siphon I have. I tested it on a 2.5 gallon tank I had to drain that was higher up and it worked great, even with a bunch of sand in the vac part. When it came to siphoning the bigger tanks, though, it got about 2” of water out of one before stopping, and I couldn’t even get it started on the other. Would definitely recommend for large or small tanks one normal stands, but not if you’re trying to drain something closer to ground level.

    Gravel vacuum

It works great for larger size gravel but sucks smaller sand out of the aquarium.
