Description

Terumo Hypodermic Thin-Wall Needles are ultra-sharp and designed for easy penetration, which can help lessen patient discomfort when delivering an injectable medication. Each needle features a clear barrel and easy-to-read scale markings for precise, straightforward dosing. They also come equipped with integrated plungers that work to stop users from accidentally detaching the plunger when measuring. Tamper-evident peel packs help to ensure safety and minimize waste disposal.

Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.

Uses

Needles are primarily used to administer fluids to dogs and cats.

Precautions

Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

Trouble getting the used needle off the line.

By Dougedart on Dec 18, 2021

I used this brand of needle for the first time today instead of the needles I was usually getting from the vet and I agree with another reviewer that it was a lot easier to administer and the needle worked great. But now I can’t get the needle off. It’s like really on there and no matter his much I pull and twist it’s wedged on. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you get the used needle detached? I’ve not had the same problem with the other needles I’ve used.

works great for a small dog

By bonniek on Jan 6, 2022

We have to give fluids to our 6 lb min pin dog 50 ml 4x/day, these work great. Totally consistent from item to item. I have found that if I jam them onto the line too hard then they are hard to get off (responding to one poor rating). They don't have to be put on that hard.

    Good 80% of the time

By PugMom on Nov 25, 2021

I have been using these needles for 2 years to give my dog subcutaneous fluids daily. I never had a problem with them, they pierced the skin effortlessly and no discomfort for my dog. This last box she now whines when I use them, I am having to use 2 or 3 needles at one setting because they are not piercing the skin as well. Hoping it was just a bad box.

    Looks good

By Clio on Dec 12, 2021

I have not used these yet, but packaging is good and they look good. Needed for a cat that has kidney issues who gets fluids every other day.

Too large for a dog or cat

By DebbieS on Oct 19, 2021

These are way to large for any size cat or dog. Best off with a 21 or 22 gauge but unfortunately chewy doesn’t sell this size. I mentioned to chewy to stock them for over a year now but they aren’t available. Will have to purchase from another vendor

    Same product used in hospitals!

By Needles on Sep 14, 2021

Same company makes the wires I use for cardiac cath procedures at work! They’re an industry leader and the quality shows. Affordable price point. Great flow rate. Just the right size for subQ fluids on a cat. They go in smoothly, so kitty is comfy. Individual sterile wrapping. Human grade, down to the standardized color coding.

    Just what the Doctor ordered

    By Dad2Angel on Oct 1, 2021

My cat, Angel, currently has a kidney (renal) disease that requires subcutaneous intravenous medication and these needles are required via prescription to help administer that in a safe manner.

    Excellent flow rate

By TabbyNotSpaces on Aug 12, 2021

Using for subcutaneous lactated wringers for my cat. These needles are the same gauge as what my vet was providing but they have a faster flow rate. Thiner wall maybe? They've cut the time for the "fluid squeeze" by about a third. Happier cat and happier me.

    Fast Delivery

By Blossom on Jul 22, 2021

I had been using another brand needle and was hesitant to order the Terumo because my friend said she didn't like them. But it was the only option and I must say I prefer the Terumo to the other brand I was using. The delivery of fluids was much quicker with the 18G. Highly recommend.
