These make it very easy to monitor the water conditions without buying and getting out a bunch of test kits. They seem to be fairly accurate as well

This is a quick test for before and after water changes/ Once you understand what to do with the information and adjust the water parameters as needed it is an effective tool for the hobby.

I switched to these dip strips a couple years ago when my (then 7 year old) son got his own tank. The accuracy is comparable to the full spectrum test kit I was using, and it was very easy for my child to use and interpret the results himself. We have repurchased many times. I highly recommend you tear off the color chart and tape it to an index card, completely covering it in clear box tape. It is nearly impossible to keep the paper dry otherwise. Your welcome.

Axolotls are VERY sensitive to water changes and need a specific habitat. These have been an absolute must in making sure that all of their requirements are being met.
