I got 7 gold fish in my 55 gallon tank how often should I change the filters out??

It's recommended to change carbon filter cartridges once a month.
I got a tetra whisper EX aquarium power filter, 35-40 gal. What size cartridges do I need? Large or med. ?

The 10-20 gallon size filter would take a Medium filter, and all larger units would be compatible with the Large filters.
This one fits ex70?

Good stuff

These are great! Tetra makes a similar large filter that's square, but this filter is much better at trapping particulates.

Good product

I bought the filter for these and the filter cartridges seem to work well. My only issue is with the cartridges holders. You pinch top to open but there should be something to secure it at bottom.

They work for my aquatic turtles

I have three aquatic turtles. I have to change the filters cartridges frequently, but that’s because turtles are messy. I’ve never had an issue with these filters.
