    Good hospital/temporary tank.

    By SparkleSprinkler on Nov 2, 2019 top500Contributor

One star off because there is not a cut out for a heater cord. Because of this the lid is not on securely when a heater is in the tank. I'll use a piece of clear packing tape to keep it still. I put clear packing tape over the square hole that is in the lid. The hole is the perfect size for jumping betta fish to fit through. There are little cut outs around the square hole so air still gets in the tank. This tank is good for a hospital/temporary tank. I like that the tank gets wider at the top. This is good for the top dwelling betta fish. The shape is a good shape, really the best shape, as it optimizes the tiny one gallon size and gives a really good amount of horizontal swimming One star off because there is not a cut out for a heater cord. It's really the best tiny/one gallon tank I've seen. I won't use the light on the bottom. It will cause the betta stress. … more

This is not suitable for a betta

By caitlin on Jan 20, 2020

This is too small for a betta fish, most people think it's ok because of the small cups they are sold in. They need at minimum 2.5 gallons but prefer at least 5.

    Good fish tank

By Bobby on Apr 28, 2019

Really great for betta fish. Had to separate him from his tank mates so this was a good one for that. The light is not very bright but it is good for the price!

1 Gallon Tank is minimum for a Betta

By easeltine on Feb 9, 2019

Despite what people are saying here a Betta can be kept in a 1 Gallon Tank, and 1 Gallon is Minimum suggested by experts. Some little tanks are sold for Betta at .65 Gallons. Having said that it is a real chore to keep a 1 Gallon clean enough. One needs to clean it every 2 days. I have the 1.5 Gallon Tetra w the Filter and light, and still clean it quite a bit. I suggest at least that, not just for the fish, rather your time savings.

    great! just what i needed

By penjamin on Jan 16, 2019

wow all the reviews are 1 star but it held water and the light worked. I needed a small tank for healing and for when I'm cleaning the main tank and this did the job. 5 stars!
